Normal day.

Christmas break.

I was sitting near my bedroom window, looking outside, and holding my phone. I heaved a sigh as I took a glance on my phone. It's been a year and I miss her already. I blinked to prevent the tears that tried to escape. I heard knocks from the door. "Come in," I said.

The door slowly opened, then I saw Ma. Of course. She's concerned. First because, she knows how I miss Alexi so much. And second, Nate hasn't been with me for a week. It's like, the first week of Christmas break. Don't tell me I'm spending Christmas without him? I don't want to happen. Besides, well.. I sort of.. miss him.

I don't know why. I just do. And hey, he's my best friend also.

"Jasmine, gusto mo bonding naman tayo?" Ma asked. I smiled. I wake up everyday and thank God that Ma survived. She's alive. Maybe you thought she was dead.. but.. surprise. "Yes na ba 'yan, Jas?"

"How can I decline?" I went to pick some clothes. Since the weather's cold (just like Nate, btw), I decided to wear some ripped jeans and a long-sleeved, turtle-neck, pink shirt with an infinity since. It's weird tho, because it has the BnW thing. Black is its color.. so.. we all know that the BnW is not really weird.

But I just can't stop thinking of Nate.

So, yeah. After dressing up, I also got my black cap and boots. I looked and the mirror and realized that I had now short hair. Wait, people say it's not really short. But for me, it is. My previous hair reached my butt, but know it's only shoulder length. Yeah.. it's really short.. for me..

I went outside, holding my phone to check if Nate has sent me messages. But dang it, no single text. I rolled my eyes as I went near Ma. "Hanggang anong oras tayo do'n?" I asked, a little bit irritated. Ugh. Ma just smiled, like the 'irritating tone' amused her. "Ah, wait lang, Ma!" I held her right arm. "I'll just get my wallet--"
