After we left the restaurant Elliot took me shopping at mt favorite department store. Just when I thought the night was over Elliot surprised me again. He scheduled a horse drawn carriage to take us around and see the Christmas lights. New York was so beautiful this time of year. We get back to the fountain in Times Square just at 11:57.
"Olivia, you know I love you, right?"Elliot asks. I nod.
"I would die without you. You are my heart, my soul, and my world, ever since the first time I layed eyes on you, I realised that you were the woman that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with." He says standing up. The song "A Thousand Years" started playing somewhere in the background as he grabbed a container out of his pocket and gets down on one knee, I stand up and start crying. He then asks "Olivia, will you please do me the honour of being mine forever, to have, and to hold. Forever." I nod fiercely and he stands up to embrace me. He puts the ring on my finger and I am still crying. This has been the best night of my whole life.
