They walked into the room and saw Elliot laying in the bed. "Hey Liv, I'm glad to see your okay." said Elliot. His eyes scanned her body until his vision reached her legs. He saw the stitches and bruises. He began to cry. "Olivia, I'm so sorry."he said apologetically.
"El, its not your fault.
"Well, we think that you two should have some time to talk about this alone."said captain Cragen gesturing for the rest of the squad to head out.
Olivia took a seat on the bed across from Elliot. "Oh, god Elliot. Why are our lives so screwed up?"Olivia asked. Elliot laughed softly under his breath.
Elliot scooted over on his bed and motioned for Olivia to come. She walked over gingerly and played down besides Elliot's side. She had never been this close to him, well except when they were hugging. "Olivia? Can I tell you something?"asked Elliot nervously. "Anything, el, what is it?"she answered hoping secretly for something deep. "I love you Olivia."
She didn't need to answer. Her lips answered for her. She scooted up and kissed him so passionately that he swore it lasted at least 20 minutes. He wrapped his arm around her and they slept. Olivia fell asleep peaceful for the first time in a long time. No nightmares, no struggle, no sleeping medicine. Just peace.
