I calmly walk into the rather fancy Italian restaurant, heeled boots hitting the floor, my skirt flowing beautifully against my thighs. I reach the waiter who smiles at me with a brightness to his eyes, and asks me my reservation.

"It's under Miss Williams. I believe they're here." I say, smiling lightly at him. He nods and takes me across the white, tiled floors, passing by the open kitchen and diners who are chatting warmly. I take in the beautiful lighting and oak furnishings paired with white fabrics and accents. I feel like I've dressed appropriately for once.

"Wednesday!"

My head whips forwards at the call and I see Hayley standing from the table with a grin pulling at her rose lips. The waiter nods at me and walks away before I'm engulfed in a warm hug. Her soft hair tickles my nose as I bury my head into her shoulders, extremely happy to see her again.

"I've missed you too, but I won't if you don't stop suffocating me." I laugh against Hayley's shoulder. She hurriedly apologises and takes my hands in hers, the two of us taking in the other with awe at how we have grown slightly more.

"It's been too long." She laughs, shaking her head. I hum as she turns away and pulls me to the large table. I feel my hands become clammy as I lift my eyes to see the large table, all seats occupied except for one - mine - and that means he's here.

My eyes lock with Taylor's and I feel my heart stop for a split second; his are thundered with mixed emotions, those that I saw last night when he cornered me. But I quickly avert them to the others; Justin, Joey, Zac, Logan and the second Joey; I introduce myself and exchange a quick greeting before being seated by Hayley. Brian is beside me and we quickly catch up, too.

I slip my coat off as I have become too hot already, and sit myself comfortably in the chair, my forearms resting against the cool, wooden table. I smile warmly at Hayley and the guys who are all laughing together as they converse. Here and there I join in but I generally stay listening as I find myself more at ease doing so.

"Your dress is beautiful, Wednesday." Joey compliments, grinning at me warmly. I blush at his words and wave him off playfully.

"Oh, this? It's nothing, I just threw it on." I laugh, not able to contain my giggles at the ridiculously cliché response. Brian fixes the dress whilst gushing about the fabric and frills, the rest of the guys watching amusedly.

Soon, however, it is cut short by the waiter taking our orders - I ask for the zucchini pasta and meatballs, all vegan and homemade. I can feel someone staring at me as I say my order, my skin prickling at the feeling, and I quickly doubt that someone is actually looking at me. I slowly turn my head to see Taylor staring me down, his bottom lip between his teeth and his eyes cold, yet they burn holes into my skin.

Before I can react, Hayley gains my attentions by asking, "How's your job been? And have you considered my offer?"

I flick my eyes to her and smile brightly. "I'd like to take up your offer, Hayles, if I still can."

"What is this about?" Zac asks, fixing his black beanie. I smile warmly at him as Hayley explains the role she's offering me in goodDYEyoung; I will write posts to do with the hair dyes and their uses directly onto the site whilst aiding with their social media account from time to time.

"And of course the job still stands. I'll send you an email this week about all of it. Let's move on from this job talk anyway." Hayley laughs, lifting her glass of soda to her lips.

"It's really hasn't changed much. I've added a couple things but that's..." I let my words speak for themselves as I gesture towards my apartment space. I have the same couch, armchairs, table, but more plants hanging and sit in the rooms. They add a nice warmth and some life to the otherwise white and oak wood furniture.
