Asdfghjkl! Oh my sweet god. The new Civil War trailer gives me life. Words can't describe how it makes me feel.
I am so amazingly happy that Bucky not only makes an appearance but is a prominent, important character! Yes #buckyforever . I really hope that they have him go back to 'sergeant James Barnes' gradually but I do want to see Bucky somewhat return to his joking, protective self. I need my buck buck back.
I tried to suck in as much detail as I could but everything went blurry after three words from Tony. "So was I" it's obvious that Tony is feeling hurt by Cap dumping him as soon as a better option (Bucky) came along.
And for so long Tony was a friend to Steve when friends for Mr. America were in short supply.
When Bucky was beating up Tony I felt something. Anger. It's not something I'm used to feeling towards my Bucky. Tony tries his best, often with disastrous results but still he tries. He only wants the best and given that Tony has problems with authority if he is siding with the Government on this one I might have to seriously question wether I am team Tony or team Cap (which I have been for so long).
Ugh. It seems that a lot of people are getting quite fed up with cap, Nat and Sam to name a few. And I'm sure a lot of people have noticed that Steve becomes 100x more reckless when Bucky is around to clean up his mess. Except this time I don't think Bucky is able to do this mentally. It really does make me question Steve.
AND IN THE COMICS STEVE DIES. DIES. He's a super soldier not a Winchester! I'm not ready for that. I'm just not.
I'm really scared guys. I really am terrified.
But can Marvel afford to lose their fanbase that tune in solely for the god given creation that is Chris Evan's body? Traitors. Maybe not?
Not to mention that they would be losing a character that has an amazing backstory, brilliant development potentials and a personality that creates contrast between characters. Again, maybe not?
But they do have to stick with the comics to a certain extent and can they really just ignore the death of a character? They have to keep it the way the good Lord Stan lee intended.
But I'm terrified, guys. I'm really really nervous to see what they do.
