When I first heard that Marvel had a new movie out, I freaked out! Marvel has recently been producing more movies than ever and it's a great time to be a geek.
Then I heard the name, Ant Man. And I kind of sighed. I just thought that Marvel was really running out of cool names for characters. I mean come on, Ant- Man!
But none the less I went to see and oh my sweet Cas, it was amazing. It was really good. It was funny, quirky and it basically rocked.
Firstly, Paul Rudd is a fantastic actor and is just generally hot.
Secondly, I am so glad that the writer realised that they needed to include something about The Avengers.
And the way they did that was just fantastic. Not only was it funny but it said what everybody else was thinking.
I mean, my first thought when I watch a Thor movie or Captain America: The Winter Soldier is where is everybody? I mean did they just bail? Are they watching it on the news thinking "not my problem"?
Ant- Man dealt with that question so perfectly that for me, it made the movie.
AND can I just say that the poster variants for this movie are so amazing!
Again, I understand this comes quite late. It was in my unpublished chapters and to be honest I forgot about it.
But if you haven't seen it yet and you are anything like a marvel fan. Check it out. You will not be disappointed.
P.S 70 year old Peggy Carter is flawless. Don't even bother fighting me on this one.
