Ethan's PoV

I woke up with my head on the edge of Alex's bed still holding his hand.
I lifted my head Which was a mistake. Right when I lifted my head I got a headache and a sore neck.

My mom walked in with some breakfast.

M- hey honey. I stopped before headed to work. I figured I pick you up some breakfast.

E- thanks mom. What did you get?

M- I stopped at donut King getting you two donuts glazed and Boston cream and a Mountain Dew.

E- thank you

M- of course. I'll stop by after work

E- ok bye

M- bye honey

She handed me the food and left. I opened my mt dew and ate my glazed donut and then my Boston cream donut.

I felt bad eating when Alex couldn't enjoy it as well. He's being fed but it's through some weird stomach tube.

I want him awake. I know it's only been a day since he came here but I hate how the first time seeing him in a week is him unconscious in a hospital bed.

Can you imagine being happy your boyfriend was found then finding out he's asleep for how ever long. It's a horrible feeling let me tell you.

Moms PoV

I got Ethan some breakfast cause I'm sure he'll be up when I get there. It's 8 am so I stopped getting him some donut King.

I got there and said hey and we had a short talk then I gave him his food and left.

I got in my car heading to work.
My job is at an office. I do like s therapy for the mentally ill people.

When I got there it was not busy at all. I had two paints to see today. They are two suisidal people.
I work mostly with them because I was able to help my boy so I know I can help others.

The door opened and a young lady walked in

M- hello I'm ms. Anderson. What's your name dear.

???- uh hi I'm Megan. Megan Hoffman.

Mom- well hello Megan take a seat

She sat down describing why she tried suicide and how she did it.

After her I had an hour break till I had my next patient.
When my next patient walked in I recognised him. This was Ethan and Alex's old best friend. He moved when they were in the 7th grade.

Mom- Blake

B- ms Anderson.

Mom- you tried to end your life

B- yyyyess

He started studdering and started to tear up

M- take a seat Blake. I'll help you

He sat in front of me

M- first tell me why you did this

B- my dad. He's in jail now but he would beat and abuse me and my body

M- I'm really sorry to hear that Blake.
may I ask how you tried to do this

B- I tried to jump in front of a train but someone pushed me out of the way before it reached me.

M- well you never have to worry about him. Your dad is in jail for life and on the death list.

After an hour of talking with him my shift was over
