Phil's POV

"Alright class!" Mrs. Fraser, not missing out on an overly-sweet Scottish accent, announced loudly to the class.
"Today we will be drawing portraits of our partners! I want to see the stretch of all of your abilities. Feel free to do any sort of portrait of you want!" And with that, she sat back down at her desk (probably to 'secretly' take a nap - something she's known for).
"Phil! We're partners, right?" I looked over at my best friend and did my best not to get lost in his simple beauty.
"Definitely," I smiled.
"Can I draw you first?" He asked.
"Sure, Dan," I grinned again, ignoring that my heart has beating really fast.
I didn't particularly want to be drawn, I'm not that good looking, but it's art class so I can't do anything about it.
"Give us a smile, Phil!" I snapped back into reality when I heard Dan's voice. I looked over to him and saw a sketch pad in his hands with a large grin on his face. I sighed, giving a large smile and holding up peace signs with my hands, eyes closed.
(You'll know it if you do)

He finished drawing about fifteen minutes later.
"And... Done!" I opened my eyes and let out a breath, only to see him clutching the sketch pad to his chest and sparkling eyes.
"Can I see it?" I asked reaching forward for his sketch pad, but only to have my hand slapped away.
"You draw me first, then we'll switch and have a look."
I smiled lightly and grabbed my sketch pad.
"Draw me like one of your French girls, Philip," Dan grinned cheekily.
I rolled my eyes. "Shut up. Now, I kind of want you to pose.. If that's alright.." I trailed off.
"That's fine, Phil. How do you want me?" He asked, his smirk softening.
I got up from my chair and walked over to him. I may or may not have taken this chance to be close to him. But shush.

"Ok, so, just turn you head to the right..." I murmured, lightly taking control of his head by placing two fingers under his chin.

"Drop the smile..." I continued.
I noticed that his cheeks were flushed bright pink. Probably from having an ugly face in this close proximity being excruciatingly annoying.

"Ok, stay like that," I finalised, go back to my seat and picking up my sketch pad and pencil, immediately setting to draw the beautiful wonder named Dan Howell.

~

Fifteen minutes later and I was three quarters of the way done.
"Ya nearly finished, Phil?" Dan asked, tilting his head ever so slightly to look at me.
"Nearly," I muttered, "stay still."

I finished my drawing about five minutes onwards, after perfecting every crevice and curve of his face, polishing up the folds in his shirt, and highlighting his fringe subtly to make it look more realistic.
"Finished!" I announced, setting my pencil down when I decided my drawing was good enough.
I heard a loud, dramatic sigh coming from Dan, and when I looked over he was stretching his arms up, a small amount of tanned skin showing up when his shirt rode up a bit.

Ignore it, Phil, keep your eyes down.

"Ok, switch!" I looked up again to see Dan with a bright smile placed on his lips, holding out his sketch pad for me to take.
"Sorry if you don't like what I drew. It's not my best," I said, just above a whisper.
I took the pad from his hands after passing him mine.
When I finally looked at his drawing I couldn't help but smile.
He had done a cute little cartoon of me, sparkles around my head and my teeth set with a shine.

"Holy shit, Phil."

I was drawn out of my thoughts by Dan's shocked-sounding voice.

"If this isn't your 'best', I really want to see what is!" He sounded exasperated.
"Well, practice makes perfect," I mumbled, a light blush taking over my face.
"Are you implying you've drawn me before?" I glanced at Dan, who currently had a quirked eyebrow and a amused look blatant on his features. I blushed.
"Aw, Philly, that's adorable!" He cooed.
"Shut up," I mumbled, blush deepening.

"Alright class, bring your portraits to the front of the class!" Mrs. Fraser called out, and with that, the bell rang.

"Don't be embarrassed, Phil," Dan smiled softly.
"I like to draw you, too," he continued, a small pink blushed covering his cheeks.
Then he shocked me.
With one simple action.
He leaned down, and
Kissed me.

Then he walked out of the classroom.
