⏰Mackenzie's POV⏰ *February 10th 2013* (that night 6:57 pm)  (Mack's outfit to side)

I sat on my couch, a million thoughts and questions running through my head. I waited and waited hearing the distinct sound of my doorbell in my head until I actually heard it.

My body tingled for a second, I shivered with anxiety, excitement, nervousness.. The second I opened the door a night like nothing I've done before would begin.

"Are you going to get the door darling?"  My mom asked.

"I'm scared momma." I said hugging her. Dylan walked in and saw us.

"Go in the kitchen, I'll talk to him for a bit." My mom led us away.

"Honey, there's nothing t be scared of."

"He's different mum."

"Isn't that a good thing?"

"Well yeah... But it's scary, I haven't come across a guy like him. I think that's why I kept pushing him away because... He seemed to good to be true."

"Sometimes they are, but sometimes they aren't. Maybe he really is just what you've been waiting for, your lucky he's patient enough to keep up with you from how much you've tried to push him away. Your coming out of your darkness... It makes me happy. If I don't say so myself I think this boy will be a keeper.."

"What do I do mum?"

"Listen to him, admire him.. Let him know you want him to stay.. Then he won't walk away."

"He's getting famous mum he's going to be lost,"

"Not if you try hard enough to keep him. Give him time, give him space, give him love... Be calm.. Everything will be alright." She kissed my forehead and I smiled.

"Thanks mum.."

"Now go, you have him waiting.. Again." I let out a small chuckle. I walked out in the living room, Dylan looked at me with a smile and Luke followed his gaze noticing me and stood up straightening his tux. He walked up to me handing me a small box. I gently opened it to see a necklace. I gasped.

"Luke, this is... It's beautiful...thank you." I took the necklace out and Luke took it from my hold. I pulled my hair forward and Luke clasped the necklace. I turned back around to face him.

"It's beautiful, like you," I kissed his cheek, and spoke softly,

"We should probably get going.. Before my mum gets out her camera." I chuckled slightly. He nodded.

"You're probably right." He took my hand and we walked towards the door. He opened it for me and before I stepped out I turned back and mouthed a 'thank you' to my mum. She smiled and motioned for me to go. I walked out the door and Luke followed in suit closing the door and then quickly catching up to my side. He opened the car door and I hopped in, he shut the door trying to run around to the other side but not before running into the front end of the car on both sides, I let out a slight giggle.

"You're such a dork." I smiled when he got in.

"Apparently only for you."

He pulled up to a building where lots of people dressed formally were entering.

"Luke, Where are we?"

"We are at a formal dance."

"This is your fancy date idea?"

"Well it's formal which is fancy people, so makes for a fancy date. Also out of the ordinary since dinner is just awkward a lot of the time. Dancing is different.. You can be yourself and it's a whole different atmosphere." He got out of the car a walked around letting me out and taking hold of my hand. We started walking towards the entrance.
