[Nyomi's POV]

Eventually we made it to the front of the line, Lacey and her friends swarmed the table while Mel and I stood back and watched. Mel poked me, "you should go talk to Ross" she whispered, I shook my head feverishly "no way". 

After Lacey and her friends had everything signed Mel and I shooed them away from the table, Ross looked at me like he was going to say something but was interrupted by the person next to him, so I just smiled and kept walking. 

Lacey asked if her and her friends could run to the movie store to pick a movie to watch tonight, so we headed that way. They ran inside and Mel and I stood watch by the door, "Ross is really cute" Mel said winking at me. "Yeah, he's not too bad" I said with a shrug, Mel grabbed my shoulders "don't play stupid, he was totally checking you out." I released myself from from her grip, "I dunno" but I was interrupted by my phone ringing, it was my mom, I motioned to Mel that I would be right back. "Hey mom!" I answered "hi hun, how's it going" "good, Lacey got to meet that band and oh are her friends staying the night tonight?" I asked looking over Mel. "Most likely" she laughed, I mouthed to Mel 'wanna spend the night', she nodded. "Mom can Mel stay too?" "sure hun, be home before" but she was cut off from the voice behind me "can I stay too?". I whirled around to see Ross standing there. "See you at home mom" I finished and hung up. "Uh no" I said "shame" he replied. I turned to see if Mel noticed, and boy did she, her jaw was hanging open. "So I just wanted to make sure you were alright after our run in this afternoon" he was looking at his shoes now "yeah I'm fine" I gripped my shoulder "it'll probably bruise, but it's no big deal" I said shrugging. "Lemme see" he said motioning to my shoulder, I pulled up my sleeve to show him a baby bruise. "I'll be fine" I said, "here" he said pulling out a sharpie, and proceeded to sign my shoulder. "What was that for?" I asked "it's so you don't forget me" he smirked, he was so cute. "Well I gotta go, try not to hit anyone else with a football" he laughed as I walked away. I got back to Mel and she looked to be still in shock, "tell. me. everything." she said, but before I could Lacey came out and it was time to go home .
