Part 7

[Nyomi's POV]

I knew that my run was almost done as I turned onto Ross's road, I didn't know which house was his but I thought ,did I really care? I kept pace when out of nowhere someone squirted me with water, I turned and saw Ross laughing in his driveway. Dang, he was cute, he was wearing board shorts and a bro tank. I walked over to him, "you just love hitting me with things don't you?" I asked as he squirted me with more water. "Yeah" he laughed, Chevy wasn't impressed and grew impatient at my feet, "well I gotta go" I said and made a motion to leave, "wait" he called and walked towards me "I gotta ask you something" but he was cut off by a crowd of screaming girls. "RUN" he grabbed my hand and we took off down the street. He looked back a couple times but we kept running, finally I saw my house and slowed down. "Why are you stopping" Ross panted, looking behind us "they aren't gone". I walked up to my gate "yeah well" I swiped my card "I'm home" the gates opened. He gave me the weirdest look, I let Chevy off his leash and he took off towards the house, then I turned to Ross "well..." a scream came from down the road "I SEE HIM". "So ya wanna come up? Or you wanna stay out here?" I laughed and started up the driveway. Seconds later he was right next to me, we walked in silence to my house. I went to the kitchen to grab us some water and myself some oreos when I heard Lacey scream, I ran from the kitchen to the entryway where I left Ross, and where Lacey found him. She had her arms around his waist and was rambling, "Lacey!" I snapped "let him go!" she tilted her head back to look at me, still hanging onto Ross, "did you bring him here?" she cooed. "Yeah, I told you I knew him" I struggled to pry her off him, Ross laughed, "so I see you've talked about me" he winked at me. "To say the least" I said throwing Lacey over my shoulder, walking into the living room and tossed her on to the sofa "stay" I told her. I walked back to Ross who was still in the entryway "my rooms upstairs, we can hangout up there until things cool down" I said walking up the stairs. 

He followed me into my room and I lead him to the deck, we sat where Mel and I sat last night. He looked at me "I want to thank you" he said "for what?" I tilted my head sideways "for saving me" he laughed "fangirls are crazy!" I laughed, he was so cute. He sat there looking at me "so earlier what were you going to ask me?" I asked him, he smirked me, "I wanted your number".  My face got really red. "But now I think I owe you dinner as well" he said, I think someone set me on fire, was he really asking me out? He smiled and tossed his phone at me, I punched my number in his phone and tossed it back to him. "Do you even know my name?" I asked him "yes Nyomi, I know your name" he laughed. I eyed him carefully, thinking about what to say when Lacey poked her head out of the door reminding me that we had to leave soon, she tried sticking around as Ross and I walked in but I kicked her out. "Where do you have to go?" Ross asked while he snooped around my room. "My mom is taking my sister and me out to dinner so she can tell Lace that we get to go home next week" I told him "Home?" he asked puzzled "yeah to Montana" I pointed to a collage of photos on my wall. He examined the pictures while I picked out a black sundress with matching wedges and a blue chunky necklace for tonight. "So before you leave, we should hang out" he said sitting on my bed, I walked into the bathroom and closed the door "if you wanna" I called "you do have my number now". A knock came from outside and I knew Lacey was ready, I walked out to find her sitting on Ross's lap "well aren't you two just the cutest thing" I snapped a picture for twitter

Seconds later I got a notification saying Ross retweeted me and was was now following me. "Thanks for the follow" I said winking at him then I followed him back. "How long are you staying here?" Lacey asked Ross "uhh well I'm leaving when you leave" he said trying to stand "yeah Lace we are taking him home" I glanced at my clock "now because we don't want to be late" her eyes grew huge "OOOOOHH you can sit next to me!" she squealed. "Ha-ha-ha yeahhh" Ross said looking at me for help, "Lace, car, now" I pointed to the door, she rolled her eyes and went downstairs. "Wow, sorry about that" I said "it's all good" Ross said laughing "I'm used to it". "Must be nice" I said walking downstairs "girls throwing themselves at you all the time" Ross grabbed my hand and whirled me around "it's hard to notice all these other girls when I'm looking at you" he said rubbing my hand. It felt like I was on fire again. I looked up into his perfect hazel eyes "wow" I smiled "you're smooth" he wiggled his eyebrows at me. I wanted to kiss him, but if I did then he would win, and I didn't like to lose. So I tousled his hair and went to the garage. I fought Lacey for the aux cord and lost, we listened to R5, because having a member of the band in the car just wasn't enough. I pulled into Ross's driveway, "thanks for the ride" he said getting out "I'll see you tomorrow!" he called walking to his house. I smiled, Mel was gonna come unglued when she heard about this. "Are you and Ross dating?" Lacey asked as we headed towards the restaurant "no Lacey, we are not dating" "well are you gonna?" she pried "I don't know, we just met".
