[Ross's POV]

"Yo wanna go get coffee?" Rocky said coming into my room "a new shop opened down the street" "yeah dude, let's go" I agreed, I needed something to get Nyomi off my mind, we hadn't talked since this morning and I figured if she wanted to talk she would call. I don't know why I was so worked up about Nyomi not telling me about one guy, we weren't dating, but damn did I want us to be. 

Rocky and I walked outside and I went to get in his car "woah, little bro, its just down the street,we can walk" he said "it'll be fun". We walked and talked about the band and our next show "you should invite your lady friend" he said wiggling his eyebrows "I don't think she'll want to come, I think she has a boyfriend" I told looking at the ground. "Doubt it bro" he started but I cut him off "hey that's her over there, don't make a scene" I told him. He looked at me with a grin on his face "but scenes are my specialty", Nyomi was leaning against her gate, on the phone, she saw us and waved. We waved back and before I knew it Rocky was running over to her, they talked for a minute, Nyomi gave him her phone and she jogged over to me."Hi" she said "uh hi" I replied, we stood there awkwardly, "why does my brother have you phone?" I asked pointing to Rocky, who was clearly having a conversation with whoever was on the other end. "Oh that" she started laughing "well he introduced himself then said I should come talk to you instead of whoever I was talking to, so I gave him my phone and came to talk to you". She shifted uncomfortably as we made eye contact, I had to know, "do you have a boyfriend?" I blurted out. "Do you think I would have kissed you if I had a boyfriend?" she asked "I have an ex-boyfriend." I looked at her, she looked sad, "so this morning, your sister was talking about your EX-boyfriend" "yeah we broke up when I moved here, and Lacey, well she's dumb and probably just wants to be cool and say that she knows you". I smiled, I wanted to kiss her, but I didn't know if she'd let me. "My parents are close with his parents so I'm sure Lacey will be telling him everything when we go home next week, she always hated him so us this morning was like gold to her". "We" I said "I thought you weren't going?" I looked into her eyes, "well I wasn't but then I just figured" she looked down.I grabbed her hand "Nyomi, I still want you to stay, I want you to stay and be my girlfriend" she looked up at me and kissed me. I heard Rocky AWWWWWWW from across the street and we both laughed. He ran over and handed Nyimi her phone, "I gave your friend my number" he said said winking at me "I'm picking her up in a hour for coffee" "we were gonna get coffee!" I exclaimed hitting him in the shoulder "I'll make you coffee!" Nyomi said laughing. Rocky went back home and Nyomi and I went to her house.
