Part 33

[Nyomi's POV]

I was still in shock that Ross showed up to my house, apologized and told me he loved me. But I think that he was even more shocked that I told him he was full of it, instead of telling him I loved him back. I thought I loved him, but now I wasn't sure. After all that happened I was confused and I kinda wanted Ross near, so I decided to let him stay for a while, just to test the water.It took a little convincing to let my dad agree to let my .... boyfriend.... stay in the house while Lacey was getting better and all but eventually he agreed. So the next week Ross and I spent hanging out, we kept Lacey company, I showed him around town and we just hung out as friends. Early Friday morning I woke up and raced to Ross's room, "wake uppp" I whisper yelled as I jumped in his bed. "hmmm" he groaned and he shoved his head under his pillow, "come on, there is something I have to show you!" I cooed curling up to his side. He poked an eye out from under his pillow, "can't it wait until a normal hour" he whined, "nope" I said "now get up, get dressed and be quiet" I said as I walked toward the door, "damn you're demanding in the morning" he said with a laugh, "and don't you forget it" I called back with a smirk. A few minutes later he met me downstairs, I tossed him an apple and lead the way out the door towards the barn. "Where are we going" he moaned as I saddled up Chicago and my dad's horse, "on an adventure" was all I said, then I turned and gave him the reins, "can you do this without dying?" I asked with a smirk. He might have been tired up he was still his sassy self, "yes I can ride a horse and not die" "okay good!" I laughed, "let's go".

We rode up into the mountains, up to what was once Matt and I's spot, and stopped. It was still darkish outside, but the sun was attempting to wake up. Ross yawned, "so" he started, "look at the moon" I told him. It looked like a paper moon, put up in the sky for decoration. "It's breath taking" he said "but I could have seen this from your balcony" he mocked. I turned on Chicago to look at him, "come here" I told him and he moved his horse closer. "The reason that we are up and out here at this hour, is because I wanted to tell you that I loved you too, and while I'm still mad about the whole other girl thing, I want to move on with our lives, together" I said looked at him then back out over the sunrise. He smiled and leaned in for a kiss. It was perfect, I could have stayed up there forever.
