Part 15

[Nyomi's POV]

I heard my door swing open and someone running across my floor, then Lacey was jumping on my bed, "Nyomi" she yelled "wake up!" I glared at her "I'm up, gosh" she stopped jumping and plopped down next to me. "Good, because it's Thursday, and I leave Saturday and I'm not packed" I looked at my clock, "so you woke me up 7am so I could help you pack?" she nodded. "Fine" I sighed throwing the covers off "to your room we go!". Lacey's room reminded me of a princesses room, canopy bed, pink everything, I looked at her suitcase and sighed again, "Lace, I could easily fit you and all your stuff in there and just mail you to Montana" "I'd die" she said looking at me. 

We hung out until noon packing Lacey's stuff when I got a phone call "hello" I said "hey!" it was Ross "whats up?" I asked laughing because Lacey was making funny faces at Chevy and he was so confused. "I planned a date for us" he sounded excited "I can't wait, what is it?" "now that would ruin the fun" he said sneakily "you'll just have to wait and see" I rolled my eyes and smiled "fine" "okay I'll pick you up at 5, see you then" then hung up. I looked at Lacey, "I have a date at 5 so I'm going to go shower" "a date with Ross" she said making kissy noises "for your information, yes" I called turning on the shower. 

After my shower I blow dryed my hair and sat in my towel staring at my closet, I had no clue what to wear, I had no clue what we were doing. I probably sat on my floor for a solid hour looking at my closet. 

Finally I decided on a pink pendulum top with black skinny jeans and black wedge boots, but before I got dressed I went into the bathroom and straightened my hair. After my hair was done I glanced at the clock it was 3:30, I still had time before I should get dressed so I wandered back to Lacey's room to find her laying upside down on her bed, channel surfing. "Lace, did you quit?" I asked looking at her suitcase "yeah" she sighed "I just don't know what else to take" she stopped on Austin and Ally. "You know, all the magazines say Ross's costar has the biggest crush on him" Lacey said looking at me "you should watch out" I pushed my lips together and tilted my head "you don't think he.." I started "I think he really likes you, but I also think that he spends a lot of forced time with her, and she probably has a big crush on him, but can you blame her?" she said. I hated to think that she was right but it made sense, "I wouldn't worry about him, Nyomi, he seems to be crazy about you" I smiled at her "thanks Lace, I gotta go finish getting ready" I said getting up "ooh I wanna see you before you leave!" she called. 

My little sister was adorable and she had a point, I didn't look into Ross's life because I didn't see a reason. Slightly annoyed at the thought of this Laura chick, I decided that my makeup needed to look on-point. I went with a smokey eye and lipstick that matched my pink shirt, it took about a half hour but I was satisfied with the result. It didn't take long for me to get ready and I flounced into Lacey's room once I was done "well" I said twirling "omg Nyomi" she said smiling "you look hot!" "haha thanks Lace" I said looking in her mirror. "So where are you and Ross going?" Lacey asked, followed by "will you curl my hair?" she asked plugging in the curling iron "sure, and I have no clue, he said it was a surprise" "that is so romantic.... Ny, I wish you were coming home with me" I felt a pang of sadness "I do too, but I don't want to leave mom alone for that long, I'll come next time" "promise to call me everyday?" she asked "of course! I'll have to give you the latest scoop on me and Ross" I said laughing. We hung out until the bell rang telling me Ross was here. I ran downstairs to let him in. I took one last look in the mirror then walked outside to meet Ross. He was leaning against his car wearing white jeans, a dark red shirt and a leather jacket, he looked good. "Hey" I called walking up to him "wow, you look gorgeous" he said taking my hand "you're not so bad yourself, Romeo" I smiled looking into his eyes "you wanna tell me where we are going now?". He opened the car door for me and I got in "not yet" he smiled and leaned in for a kiss.
