Lucas Friar quietly tapped on his girlfriend's window. Nobody knew they were dating, nobody knew about anything. Only them. She unlocked her window, hugging him, and sitting down on her beanbag chair.
"Maya, we need to come clean." Lucas said, sitting down as well, and cuddling up beside her.
"What do you mean?" She said, looking at him curiously.
"We need to tell Riley and Farkle. Riley's getting suspicious and Farkle is trying to push Riley and I together again. If we blatantly tell them that we're dating, I won't have to deal with Farkle, and we'll take the burden off of Riley. And I'll be able to do this in public." He says, finishing his sentence off by planting a soft kiss on Maya's lips, and holding her hand.
"But what if they don't believe us, Huckleberry? We tease each other so much, Farkle must think we have a frenemy thing going on." Maya said, sighing.
"Then we prove to them that we are -" He said, squeezing her hand
"I don't want to keep out relationship hidden anymore, Maya. I want to let the whole world know I'm in love with you. I want to be people's 'relationship goals', I want to be able to hold your hand in public, I want to-" Lucas starts rambling, but Maya quickly shuts him up by kissing him.
"I don't want to do that in private anymore. I love you, Maya Hart. I don't want it kept to just us anymore." He finishes off.
"If this is what you want to do, then tomorrow morning in History we'll announce to the class we're dating. We'll go public. They just won't fully know about us." Maya says, quietly.
"I love you, Huckleberry." She says before drifting asleep on his shoulder.
He kissed her forehead, she smiled a bit, and he whispered
"I love you too, Maya Penelope Hart."

The Next Day

They got in their usual seats for history class. Riley was staring at Lucas, but Lucas only focusing on one blonde beauty walking through the door.

Mr. Matthews followed in a few seconds later, as Maya and Lucas flashed each other a small smile, and he started the lesson.

"Today we will be talking about Forbidden Love. It happened all throughout history. Romeo and Juliet, for example. Nobody in their family wanted them to date, but they did. They were so in love with each other, nobody could keep them apart. One day they had to come clean though. Their families weren't happy about it. But they loved each other, so they were willing to face any obstacle that came their way. Now. We're in Gr. 11 here, aren't we? Yes, we are. We've probably all experienced a forbidden romance, or simply witnessed one. Would anyone like to share?" He said, sitting down at his desk.

Maya timidly raised her hand. Riley looked at her, shocked.
"Ms. Hart?" Mr. Matthews said, acknowledging Maya.
"I'm experiencing one right now. And I'm willing to share, because I don't want it to forbidden anymore." She said, walking up to the front of the room.

"I, Maya Hart, am dating Huckleberry Tristan Friar. We don't want it to be a secret anymore. 'They don't know about the things we do, they don't know about the I love you's. But I bet you if they only knew, they would just be jealous of us' that's a quote from my favourite One Direction song. It's called 'They don't know about us', and it perfectly describes Lucas and I, and our relationship. I don't want our love to be forbidden, or a secret, anymore. I want the world to know I'm in love with a Huckleberry, a Ranger Rick, a Cowboy, and most importantly, a Lucas Friar from Austin, Texas." She said, confidently, sitting back down in her seat.

"Lucas?" Mr. Matthews says, very interested in what just happened.
"It's true sir. I'm dating the other one, the short stack of pancakes, the blonde beauty sitting right in front of me. And I love her with all of my heart." He said, smiling at Maya the entire time. Her face went bright red, yet she continued to smile at him.

The whole class was silent for a minute, when Farkle finally spoke up.
"Riley still loves Lucas." He says. Maya instantly breaks down into tears, and she leaves the room.
Lucas raises his hand, and he gets permission to go find Maya.
Riley turns around and glares at Farkle.

"How could you do this?!" She yelled, he'd never really heard her this upset before.
"Riley, I did the right thing." Farkle says with a straight face.
"They love each other!" She screams for Africa to hear.
"You love him." Farkle keeps persisting.
"Ugh! Farkle, you don't understand! Maya, and Lucas, love each other. I may have LIKED Lucas for a few years, but now that I see how happy my best friend is, I don't care! They love each other Farkle, I don't love Lucas in that sense. Maya does. Maya deserves him, he deserves her. Why do you keep trying to push us together?!" She yells, stomping out of the classroom to find Lucas and Maya.
"I'm trying to get them together so Riley gets her 'Cory and Topanga' story." Farkle mumbles, as he rests his head down on his desk.

Lucas held Maya as she cried, she was heartbroken.
"Go find Riley. Tell her that you love her as well. Get married. Have that Cory and Topanga story everyone expects you to be. I'm useless." She says, as she pushed him away for the third time.
"Maya, can't you tell. I love Riley, but not in the way I love you. I will never love anyone more than you."
"You're gonna find someone better. You're going to love another girl besides me. Her name will be Riley Matthews." She says, leaning against the wall.
"You're right." He states, moving closer to her.
"Huh?" She says, tears welling in her eyes.
"But I don't think her name will be Riley Matthews. I don't know what her name will be, but I do know what she'll call us." He says, standing beside Maya.
"What? The former flame?" She says, rage in her eyes.
"No." He says, staring deep into her beautiful ocean blue eyes.
"What then?!" She yells, annoyed.
"Mommy and daddy." He says, kissing her quickly.

"They don't know about us..." He whispered, as they walked back to class, hand in hand.

"I couldn't find them, dad." Riley said, very frustrated.
"They're probably fighting because Lucas realized he loved you more than Maya." Farkle said, laughing. The door opened to the classroom, Farkle caught a glimpse of who was coming in.
"Finally, hopefully they're through." He thought.
But boy, was he wrong. Maya came in smiling from ear to ear, hand in hand with Lucas.

"You don't know about us, Farkle." They say in unison, and they sit down at their desks.

I have caught major feels writing this chapter, it's finally up! Took awhile, yes. Fabulous, yes. Major feels, absolutely. GMNY references, yup.

Happy Thanksgiving to our neighbours to the south, America!

Hope it's a good one!
