{River Phoenix Imagine} 3

It was a chilly Saturday, me and River were just snuggling and watching  A Christmas Story, in the middle of it River looked down at me and said "I know what we can do" I looked back up at him and said "what?" He smiled and said "go upstairs and put something warm on" I smiled and said ok. So I went upstairs and just threw something on and then ran downstairs to see River waiting for me, I smiled and then spoke "so what are we doing?" He smiled, grabbed my hand and said "it's a surprise, you'll see when we get there" we drove for what seemed like forever but then the car stopped he looked over at me and said "we're here!" I looked confused cause we were in the middle of a forest, when we got out of the car he grabbed my hand and took off running, we finally stopped to see Christmas lights wrapped around this frozen pond, it was beautiful, I was speechless. I looked over to ask River what all this was for but he was smiling and holding a pair of brand new skates with a bow on top. I smiled and just hugged him and thanked him non stop until he had to kiss me to get me to shut up. So we put on our skates and skated for what seemed like centuries but I knew it wasn't. It was magical, it was perfect, I loved seeing him like this, I loved seeing him happy. He stopped us right in the middle of the pond and we just stared at eachother until he held up a mistletoe, I smiled at him then we kissed, I was freezing but his lips were so warm, so warm it heated my body up, we've kissed many times before this but this one was different, this one was just..Perfect. It was magical and I loved every second of it. We skated a little more after that and then went back home to warm up. When we got there, we ran and jumped on the couch and snuggled up  together under the blankets and drank hot chocolate and finished watching A Christmas Story. I couldn't help not to smile and look up at him every once in a while because I loved seeing him happy, it just made me so happy inside. I thought to myself "I just am so blessed to have him in my life, just so blessed.."
