Christina fainted, Adam caught her easily in his arms.

Cee-Lo said, "no one anticipated that response."

"Is that a yes?"  Blake asked, confused.

Miranda rolled her eyes.  "Blake, Adam wants to hear her say yes."

Adam kissed Christina, then watched her eyes flutter.  She looked at him and smiled.  "Yes! Yes Adam, I'll marry you."

Max yelled so loud everyone heard, "Mommy said yes! Yippy!  Adam's going to be my new daddy!  Franky will be mine too!"  He ran around, doing a happy dance.

As Christina's mother congratulated her, Adam's brother made his way through the crowd, that was talking to the newly engaged couple.  "I can't believe you're finally going to do it bro.  Commitment the last frontier,"  Michael joked.

"She's just an amazing, sexy, confident woman.  She keeps me on my toes, inspires me and is so loyal."

"Adam it's you who's amazing!  How did you do all this?"  Christina asked.

He shrugged, "with help from a lot of family and friends.  And Max was a key player."

Carson stepped forward to hug Christina and shake Adam's hand.  "When you kissed him on stage that day, I knew it wouldn't be long."

"I knew it before they even did.  I called it, while on the show.  I knew their bickering was due to sexual tension.  That's when I did a little match making," Cee-Lo advised.

Blake chuckled.  "You did a good job with that buddy.  Remember how you suggested Adam take Christina home?"

Adam turned and looked at Cee-Lo, "sneaky, you were very sneaky."

"Who little ol' me?"  Cee-Lo grinned.

So  began an evening of celebration.  They ate, drank and danced.  Blake and Michael began to plan Adam's bachelor party.  Christina's girlfriends, mother and Christina Milan talked about her bachelorette party and wedding.

"When is the wedding Adam?"  His mother asked.

"Probably after Christina's done touring.  We'll let you all know when we set a date."

Adam's father said, "I'm proud of you son.  You're growing up and being a man."

"Thanks Dad... I think.  It's going to have to be a long engagement, due to everything we're doing right now."

Christina's mother warned, "the media is going to go crazy with this news."

Adam and Christina looked at each other and then at Mark Burnett.  "We'll try to keep it quiet until season three of The Voice is done,"  they promised.

"Media is unavoidable, if it leaks we'll deal with it then,"  Mark said with understanding.  "Love waits for no one."

Adam was glad that he had reserved the entire restaurant for his announcement. That way only friends, family and restaurant staff knew about their engagement.  It would delay media from finding out, but it wouldn't prevent it.  Christina promised not to wear the engagement ring until the last night of The Voice. That way if the story did leak, it would remain as speculation for a short time.

Eventually Christina and Adam excused themselves from the party, to take Max home.  He carried the tired boy from the car into her house and up the stairs. Together they put him in bed.  Adam watched Christina as she lovingly put the blanket over her son. Then they left the boy's room together.

Christina put the engagement ring back on her finger.  "You are an amazing man.  Thank you for loving me."

"And you are an amazing woman.  Thank you for patiently waiting for me to realize I wanted you all to myself," Adam replied. "And thank you for letting that little boy sleeping in the other room, be part of my life too."

She grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him towards her.  "Feel like sealing the deal with a kiss?"

He laughed and scooped her up into his arms, "more like more than just a kiss!"

"That I can do, but we can't be at it all night.  Tomorrow we have the live shows on The Voice."

He smirked, "I can live with that.
