Chapter 9

Matthew motioned me to sit at a different table. I smiled at Josh to let him know its alright. I walked over to the empty table andl sat down.

"Look Elina, I'm sorry."

"Dont be." I said

"Well I am."

"I understand if you dont wanna talk to-

"I do wanna talk to you."

"So you and Josh over are-

I turned to Josh who was staring at me with his eyebrows raised, " no."

"So, um do you wanna go out."

I hesistated a little before answering, " Yes."

Yes, suprisingly I said yes. Matthew smiled an I smiled back at him. His phone rang and he looked down at it. He looked up and said, "I'm so srry, my mom kind of needs me right now. I promise I'll make it up tomorrow. Bye Elina." He said getting up and I said bye, before he left he kissed me on the lips. I touched my lips in suprised. I looked over to where me and Josh was sitting and noticed that he was gone. I sighed, but still in a good mood about everuthing.

When I reached inside the house I saw Josh sitting next to an unfamiliar girl. His head snapped to me, and my smipe dropped. I decided to fake a smile and walk over to him.

I was good at faking smiles, I've done it for years to my mother.

"Hi Joshie." I said resting my hand on his shoulder

The girl next to him looked up and sneered at me. I couldnt help but smile. Josh looked up at me in suprise.

"You left me...why?" I asked

"Um, had things to do, and it looeked like you had been having a good time with Matthew. "

I smirked at him. Was someone a little jealous. Probably not because here was sitting her with some girl, he probably didn't know the name of.

"Who is she?" asked the girl

I walked around to Josh and whispered in his ear while the brunette stares at me, " she needs a whole lot of shampoo. Shes flaking all around the living.room."

Josh looks at me and then at his date, and then at me with a smirk on his face. I smirk back at him and waved going up stairs, on the way up, I could hear his date asking what she said. The part I laughed at is when Josh asked her what shampoo she uses, and if she ever thought about Suave Dandriff control. It keeps the dandriff away. I could hear footsteps and the door closing. I guess she got offended an left. I ran down stairs when I heard Jamie's voice.

"Hi Jamie." I chirped

"Hey," she said turning to me, "who was the chick."

"That was Josh's date, he left me for."

Josh now walking in the kitchen says, " Appearantly she needed dandruff control."

Jamie starts laughing, " Josh, why'd you leave her."

Josh smirk drops and he takes a sip of water, he sighs and says, " She was having nice time with Matthew so, I found no reason for I to be there. I got lonely, so I called a chick from my fan club."

"I didn't mean for Matthew to kiss me." I said sitting on the bar stool.

A big grinn spreads across Jamie's face, while Josh on the other hand, his eye's opened up wide and he did a spit take.

"HE WHAT!" Josh exclaimed

" Oh my gosh, he kissed you!" Jamie commented

Josh puts up his hand at Jamie's face, "Why'd he kiss you?"
