Chapter 15

I don't know why I left. I just don't. Either way, he'd still come and get me. Because in this house there's no where to hide. Follow my heart. Follow my heart. I don't know how to follow my heart. My heart led me to being friends with someone who enventually started hating me. It's because of my heart why i'm stuck between Matthew and Josh. What if Josh is playing me, and think I'm just some type of an game. Matthew doesn't know that I'm a princess. And it's because of that why I like him. But all this doesn't matter, because one day America would be many miles between us because I'm a foreigner. More like a Persusian, and I have to take on the duties as a Princess, even though I don't have the interest to do so.

"Elina!" Josh yelled

"What!" I said stopping and dropping on the floor, putting my knee to my chest.

"I'm sick of you running away! Not explaining your feelings to me."

" I'm not running away. I'm avoiding it!."

"Well don't."

"Josh you know I'm a princess right?"  I said

"Yes."

"And as soon as I leave, there would be no more us! "

"Listen...." he said stopping in his tracks, " I don't understand."

"Well listen!" I said, " I don't want anything between us okay!" I began, " Matthew and me, that's it. I'm sorry but that's the way it have to be."

A hurt face grows on his face, " Fine! You wasn't all that cute anyways. You was more like a fan girl!" he says walking away into his room

Walking down the hallway of school, I seemed to be afraid again. Like Manny, was going to pop up, choke me to death, because she finds out that I'm an princess. Luckily Jamie feels better and here she is at school. I stop by my locker and open it. SOmeone taps me and I jump.

"Calm down it's just me." Jamie said

"Hey." I said shoving my history book into my locker

"I heard what happen between you and my brother." she said, " I'm sorry."

"How'd you know?" I said glancing at her

"You was outside my door." she said

I laughed, "Didn't recognize."

"See there's a smile. My work here is done." she said, " Let's go meet up with Nina and the others."

I nodded and followed her into the lunchroom. We sat at our normal seats, and Nina, Taj and Saige was already munching on a Taco. They looked up at me, with food on there faces. I smiled, at them, even though I was self awared of what was going on. I looked around the lunchroom to find Josh, but he wasn't in yet. Like it was rehearshed, Josh and Manny walked in like they were Brad and Angelina. Like they was a star couple. Josh's hands were wrapped around Manny's shoulder, her hands around his waist. I looked at him, trying to snap out but I couldn't. He caught my eye, and all I saw was pain, and anger, but he quickly changed it into a smug look. He kissed her and smirked at me. I dropped my text book on the table, that made a loud bang. Catching everybodies attention, even Josh's. I got up and walked out. I looked back at Josh who caught my eye, but Manny grabs him. I walked out.

Matthew gets up and grabs me. Why does everyone grab me.

"What!" I snapped.

Matthew  a little taken back, " What's your problem! You've been acting really weird this week."

I turned around to face him, " Can we not do this right now."

"You're my girlfriend." he said simply, " We're suppose to get over problems."

"I know. But sometimes, girlfriends need time to think, without anyone hassling them."

"So what are you saying?" he said walking around, " Are you breaking up with me."

"No. I mean I don't know. I just need time without you."

"Fine." he said, " First time I've found someone that I actually like. And she breaks my heart."

They might as well call me Elina -the- heartbreaker.
