Chapter 13

I didn't want morning to come. And sadly it did. And I knew today that I would have to face what I've done last night. I was really suprised that he rejected me in some sort of way. All I could think of is that he was being a better friend to Matthew. That he was really serious when he told Matthew he was sorry. Here I was cheating on Matthew, and he trusted me. I want to regret what I did, but it was so good. I have to admit, Josh is an AMAZING kisser!  I walked down the stairs, and tripped down the stairs landing on my butt. Josh walks down the stairs and see's me there. I expect him to walk over me and ignore me, but he doesn't. He smirks at me, and then walks over me. I turn over and pushed my self off the floor huffing. He walks into the kitchen grabs a glass and pours out some orange juice that was already on the counter.

"What some?" he asked me

"Huh?"

"Did that fall make you loose your hearing?"

"No. Um it's just...." I said beginning to trail off, "No, I don't want orange juice."

What was his problem? Why was he acting like we never kissed last night? His reactions was really getting to me. Really, really getting to me. Was he acting like it never happened, to push the guilt aside he felt? Did he even feel guilty? I know I felt really guilty, and the guilt was getting to my head.

"Fine." he said simply, " Had a nice sleep."

"No." I said rolling my eyes

"I know I did." he said smirking at me

Now I'm starting to think that he's using the kiss to tease me. What the heck was I thinking.

"Okay." I said

"Fine." he said

"Okay." I said

"Fine."

"Okay!" I said

"Fine!" he said mimicking me

"Why are you acting like we never kissed?!?!" I finally said

"I'm not acting like it. I'm bypassing it." he said

"So." I said walking around to get my bag, " You have nothing to say about it."

"Nope." he said

"Fine." I said walking out the door.

"Oka-" He said, the door closing off the rest of the word.

I trudged to school. Where was Jamie, Jamie was sick today, so I was left with one twin. The most annoying one. Joshie Boy. I walked into the school building and walked towards my locker. I was pulled into the bathroom again. This was becoming a bad habit.

"Guy's nothing is going on with me and Josh." I said. Until I turned around and recognized that is wasn't my friends. It was Manny. But why would she pull me in here. Oh my gosh! Did she figure out who I really am.

"Of course nothing is going on with you and him." she said grabbing my jaw. That really hurt. I nodded at her, " Because he's my man."

I nodded again.

"And he doesn't want a petty girl like you. Especially one from Persusas named after that stupid princess." she said clenching my jaw harder.

I nodded

"Now. I've seen some connection between him and you." she said, " And I want all connections to SHUT DOWN."

I nodded. This was really getting old, and it really was bruising my jaw.

"So do me a favor and stop flirting with him. I don't care if you live with them! Stay Away from him!"  she said walking out of here. I rubbs my jaw. Luckily no major bruises.

Everything. Thats all I've heard. Now America. Where do I need to go where people don't pick on me and tell me stay away from stuff that I don't even want!

During class, I didn't even one bit stare or glance at Josh for Math. Manny had that class with me and him. She smiled smugly when she saw that I was following her stupid command. I walked out of class and headed for lunch. I sat down by my self. Where was Jamie's friends? They had some sort of fan meeting. Matthew scared the living daylight out of me when he sat down.

"It's okay." he began, " It's just me."

I smiled, " Sorry. I was just a little startled."

He puts his hands over my shoulder, and guilt rushes back to my head. I plasture a smile on my face that was obviously forced. I ate my lunch silently, and only glanced at Josh once, when he looked at me. His mood changed, something more angry, a glint in his eyes. I had quickly looked back to what I was eating.

Finally! And Happily school had been over. I'm walking down the hall and someone pulls me again. Frightened thinking that it was Manny  I started to panic. And turned around to see it was  Josh. We were in a secret little place that no one had figured out.

"What Josh." I said

"This." he said kissing me. I was taken back and pushed him off.

"Why did you do that!"

"You asked me if I had anything to say. But I didn't so I did something." He said kissing me again. I wrapped my hand around his neck. I stopped kissing when I recognized that I was betraying Matthew and pushed him off.

"I can't do this." I said walking away

Vice versa, this had happened last night.

So the story is gong somewhere. Thanks to all that read. I know its early to be thinking about an sequel. But I am. And I will do one. Its good to plan early.
