Chapter 5

I don’t even know what happened. And how I got back. It all started when we finally attired and no one had enough money to even pay for me. Even Jamie, who thought her broke brother would’ve paid for me. I told them, I’ll sit and watch because I don’t even know how to bowl and it’d be a waste of cash anyways. Of course Jamie felt bad, but Josh agreed and then walked off with his ‘bowling shoes’. Which I found really funny, it looks just like sneaker. Whatever, so Matthew, Josh’s friend decided to pay for me. At first I declined but then he pressed more and I finally gave in.

So we decided to play in teams. So Jamie and I decided boys versus girls. I didn’t want to play, because I already predicted that we was going to loose anyways. She said she’d train me. So Jamie explained the game, and I finally understood. She went onto the platform and picked up an orange ball with 3 holes in it. She stuck her fingers in and bent her left knee. And put the right leg back. She swung the ball back and swung it back letting go off it. The ball went flying into the lanes and it hit all the pins.

“Strike!” Jamie said laughing, “In your faces!”

I high-five Jamie and she stuck her tongue out at an grimacing Josh. Josh grabbed and ball and bowled. He only knock a few pins down. Leaving only one pin on the left and one pin on the right. There was no way he could of knock down both. Josh ran his hand through his hair. And threw the ball down the lane and it went straight through knocking down none. Jamie high-fives me, and Josh shot an us an dirty look. We ignored it an continued laughing.

“Let’s make this interesting.” Josh said taking a sip of Sprite

“I’m listening,” Jamie said smiling

“If I win, I get a kiss from Elina.” Josh said smirking

My eyes shot up and I began to back away saying no. Jamie reassured me that we were going to win. Remind never to believe her judgment because we lost. Badly. I slapped my forehead.

“Come give daddy a kiss.” Josh said puckering

Jamie shot me a look and took something out her pocket. A chocolate Kiss. That was smart of her. That’s what Josh gets when he tries to mess with me.

“Open you hand.” I said

He did as what I said with a confused look on his face. He closed his eyes and puckered his lips. I put the kiss in his hands,

He shot open his eyes, and saw that I gave him a chocolate kiss. He sighed, “Way to ruin the fun.”

Jamie laughed at him and he walked over and took a seat on the couch. Jamie gave me 5.00 dollars to get something to drink. I walked over to the concession stand.

“Can I get an coke.” I told the clerk, she nodded and went to the soda machine

“That was pretty smart.” someone said from behind me. I turned around to become face to face with Matthew.

“Thanks, no way was I kissing him.” I said laughing, he laughed too and ordered.

“You know you’re very pretty. Your eyes are beautiful, I’d be so lucky to get a girl as beautiful as you.”

And that when I ran. I ran like the wind. Jamie looked at me with wind eyes. They chased after me , even though I had no where was I going. I guess I had an good memory because I made it home before they could catch me.

I walked into the room, feeling to smack myself. Ugghh! It was so much easy back at home. No boys to deal with. I was over exaggerating big time. Matthew just told me I was cute. That’s it. Its not like he kissed me. But what if he did? No, no, no its not like I’m trying to fall in love here. Right? I didn’t want him to kiss me either. Jack came in with a can of Pepsi in his hands. He looked at me concerned.
