CHAPTER 2 - The Drummer

Caze's POV

After Miss Lawrence class, We have an hour break for our next subject, so I decided to took a short tour in the University. Nakapag lakwatsa nga konti.

Ang una kong binisita ay ang music room, following my University handbook and map. It was located at room 305, 3rd floor, when I got there, I saw Raven in the corridor near to the music room, with other students. Then she approached me.

"Oi , Cassodie, what are doing here?" She asked habang hawak hawak ang papel na may music notes.

"Oh Hi Raven, I just want to see the music room, how about you?" I asked.

"May Audition right now for a high school music club, unfortunately di kami maka pasok kasi wala kaming drummer," Upon aswering me, ttttiiinnnkkk! Na excite ako bigla nang marinig yun.

"Wow,,, music club,, audition,, great,, this is it" sa isip ko. "Really? Wow great,,, So what is your piece?" I asked excitedly her.

"I'm singing Ain't it fun by Paramore. Pero nakaka nervous kasi walang drummer pangit ang togtog." She chuckled while gripping her notes harder. She feels like nervous.

"Nice choice of song,can I audition too?" I didn't hesitated to grabbed the opportunity.

"What? You sing too? "She said surprised,

"No, I'm A drummer..."

"Oh God, You're a blessing. Hulog ka nang langit. Talaga talaga? Drummer ka?" She didnt let me continue my word and hugged me eagerly. "We badly need a drummer, can you drum with us?"

"Can I really joined you with your band?" I asked curuiosly, sana pwede.

Then she called her Three friends immediately .

"Guys, I would like you to meet, Cassodie our new drummer."she said excitedly "Cassodie, this is Paigne our lead guitarist, and Odette on Keyboard, and Nathalie on bass guitar." She continued na parang lulundag na sa tuwa.

"Hi, nice meeting you all," I said upon studying their reactions mabuti nang mangilatis muna ako.... "Hope I can hopped in? if you dont like, its okey, I can audition alone" saying it with finger's crossed.

"You're very much welcome to the band Cassodie, omg... makaka audition na tayo... " Nathalie shook my hand.

"Can I call you Cassy? Its nice to heard your name like that." Paigne smiled sweetly to me, mabait naman sila sakin, di pamang husga sana tama ako.

"Yeah, Cassy that would be great. Im so thankfull for having me.."I shook their hand individually, "Is it really ok? You know, I'm just new here, alam mo na, yung hitsura ko rin...."

"That your like a nerd? Oh come on, we're not like that, don't mind them, just be yourself."Odette exclaimed, maarte ito pero di ko nakitaan nang pang huhusga sa mga mata niya.

I cant imagine how glad and happy I am. After what happened in New York, Neon and Scott didnt allowed me to go out with my band. They are more cautious of my where abouts, and whom Am I with, they fetch me in my classroom after class. Until we transferred here in Austrilia.

Speaking of them, I have to call and inform them. Kinuha ko yong phone ko sa bag at tumawag na kay neon, di xa sumagot, si Scott nalang kaya.... ay malas di rin sumasagt, may klase na siguro sila.

"Cassy we have an hour before our next class starts, and we dont have much time to practice, are you ready for this? Kaya mo ang biglaan. Raven said.

"Nah, Its ok, I can managed with my drum sticks" I smiled while I showed them my pink and black drumsticks na may design na utterflies...from my pack bag, mahilig ako sa butterflies.
