CHAPTER 5 - Grounded

Scott's POV

As I reached home, I texted Neon to fetch Caze after their classes, mine ended earlier at wala narin akong gagawin, so I went home to gathered and complete our requirements in school, some birth certificates, transcript of records, and other papers that need to be submitted soon.

To checked if may nakalimotan ako or something in the requirements, I open my laptop and searched the university website. In few minutes, the site requested to signed in, so I registered my username and my password. After that I can access full services in the site. Then forum tab keep on blinking, that really annoyed me, it means their's an update or news from the students, so I clicked it. Right then a video with a titled hush tag The beauties and the beast my eyes hooked up.

As I played the video, my phone ring, it's dad, so tumayo ako at lumabas outside in my room and I answered it immediately as I let the video play.

"Hey dad, how's mom and you?, may ipag bibinli ka pa bah?"I said upon listening to the music in the video. A drummer started it and it sounded familiar, alam ko yung signature drum roll na yun,

"We're good son, I just wanted to remind you...the birth certificate that you asked for, you know what I mean son.ikaw at si Neon lang pwede makakita nun, wala nang iba." My dad said worriedly.

"I know that dad, it won't happened, mag iingat po ako" I said but my ears keep on listening to video, I heard female voice. But the drums, I became curious.

"I trust you with that ... I'll call you again... bye for now, sorry son, we're too busy, we're not their, especially to Cassodie, will make it up soon, uuwi kami dyan "

"It's okay dad... we understand, okay bye dad..."as I ended the call, i headed back to my room and face my laptop.

"What? When did this video happened? First day in school she got friends and bullied? Pano nangyari yun?....wait..." as I saw the comments and read it.

"She's not a beast... she's the best drummer Astig!!!"

"Beast? Will she is like Beast in drums, sisikat siya for sure."

"You mean the drummer is the Beast here? Nah... wrong title... she's not that ugly like a beast"

"I saw her, he drums like a pro, grabe ang galing niya."

"That nerd rocks!"

Those are flattering words, but there are some that might hurt my sister. I want to protect her as I promised, but now I want an explanation to Caze, a brief one, why she ended an instant talked of the town in just one day, di ba siya pumasok sa klase niya? Panibagong problema na naman ba ito?

After reading that comments, I called Neon to come home early with Caze. I can't believed she disobeyed me...matigas talaga ulo niya.. I just said a month ago, no drums, stay away from making friends, until I said so, I dont trust anybody right now for Caze...now her video became viral in her first day of school.

She has a good heart, helpful, thoughtful and that's the reason why her classmates took her for granted, some make them her friends so they can have her assignments, nang hihingi ng baon niya for school, projects, a discount to the product what we owned and worst to her friends in the band. I don't want to hurt her, telling that her band mates betrayed her for changing her as a drummer because she doesn't fit with them physically..dahil wierd or nerd siya... but before it happened I let Caze stop on her band so that she well not know and hurt. I know how she loves to drum but I let her heart broke because of me than somebody else that doesn't deserved her talent, mas mabuti na yon, sa akin siya magalit.

At the parking lot...

Caze's POV

I walked as fast as I could, away from the lobby, away from that jerk, at baka habolin pa ako nun. Then Neon texted me to hurry up, he waited now in the parking lot. So I run off so fast to where our car parked, then I open the passenger door and seat.
