They both at looked at their mothers approaching them. Lindsay was grinning while both Leo and Andrew frown.

“Hi Mrs. Hendricks, Mrs. Taylor,” greeted Lindsay and kissing both of them on their cheeks, “Nice to see you here.”

“Nice to see you too, Lindsay,” both Leo and Andrew mothers greeted her back.

“I didn’t expect to see both of you here?” Leo’s mother said and grinning at both Leo and Andrew, “You all here came together?” pointing at Lindsay and her friend.

Lindsay shook her head intended to answer her question but Leo cut-off, “Yes we did,” he quickly nodded his head and grabbed Lindsay’s hand. Lindsay scratched her hair trying to figure out what Leo was doing.

“I thought…..” Lindsay tried to say something but again Leo cuts her off, “I just don’t want you to know that I’m here with her,” he told his mother and nudged Andrew softly asking for his help.

Andrew immediately nodded his head too, “Yes Aunt Nessa, mother. We all came together.”

Both their mothers smile approvingly at them, “Well, it’s good to know,” Andrew’s mother said.

“But….” Lindsay tried to say something and again Leo cuts off, “I didn’t know you’re coming.”

“We’ve got the invitation since last month,” Andrew’s mother told them and at the same time the announcer informed everyone that the event will be starting soon. “Oh we better get back to our place. Do you want to sit with us? Our seats are much better,” she offered.

“Err… No, thanks mom,” Andrew replied while Leo shook his head. Good thing Lindsay shook her head too.

“Well we better leave you youngsters alone, then. Enjoy yourself,” waving at their sons and move to their seat right in the front.

“Phew, that’s was close,” Leo sat on his chair feeling relieved at the same time.

“Yeah, lucky,” agreed Andrew.

“Would you two mind telling me what was that just now?” asked Lindsay who still confused with what just happened.

“Nothing,” said Leo rolling his eyes at her and started to focus his attention on the stage.

Lindsay pouted her lips still didn’t understand what’s just going on and sat besides him making Leo rolled his eyes at her again.

“Damn,” he cursed softly and whispered to Andrew, “Can’t she sit somewhere else?”

“You have to let her sit beside you just until the event starts. Otherwise your mother would suspect. We’ve told her that we came with Lindsay remember? We wait until Niki and Lu came out, then we’ll leave. We’ll tell them to meet us somewhere,” Andrew suggested to him.

Leo snorted but he knew Andrew’s right. There’s nothing he could do at the moment. He just has to bear sitting beside Lindsay just until the event starts.

The event finally starts 10 minutes later with both Luna and Nikita came out first. They both look so elegant in the dresses they were wearing. Nikita was the one facing them and she smiled sweetly at them. Leo nudged his friend playfully teasing him about the way Nikita smiled at him.

Luna and Nikita then changed places and it was Luna’s turn to face them. Her eyes were on him and Leo cast a smile at her. She’s blushed and then saw Lindsay was sitting besides him. Leo could see the total changed in her face from a charming smile to an upset smile. She immediately looked away from them and looked at the rest of the guests sitting among them. It’s not too obvious but he still could sense that she’s not comfortable seeing him with Lindsay. Is she jealous? He smiled of that thought. Luna is jealous seeing him with another girl. Does that mean she like him just as he does towards her? Well, he’s going to find that out later, he told himself.
