AUTHORS NOTE~ hey guys! hope you enjoy the boom so far! this is the first short story I've written so it's easy to update because the chapters are so short. Hope you enjoy it. I'm trying to come up with a cast. if you have any ideas please let me know!
Once we got to our favorite diner we were sat down at a booth next to the window. We sat down across from each other and look at the menu. I look up at the menu and see Justin staring at me. I raise an eyebrow and all he does is smirk.
"What?" I ask.
"Your hair looks good today," he says looking back down at the menu. A waiter comes by and asks for our drink order.
"I'll have a Coke," he says.
"I'll have the same," I say. She nods and walks away.
"So what are you doing over the summer," he asks. Our senior year of high school just finished so I'm planning of spending my summer before college to the fullest. Even if that consisted of watching every episode of How I Met Your Mother on Netflix.
"I don't really have anything planned," I say right when the waiter comes and gives us our drinks. Then she asks for our food order.
"I'll have a veggie burger, no onions with cheese fries," I say.
"I'll have the same only with real meat," he says with a smirk as I glare at him. She nods again and walks away.
"What about you?" I ask. "What are you doing over the summer."
"Well, I was hoping to invite you and Dylan and Lily to my sister lake house," he says with a lopsided grin.
"That sounds great Justin, you know we would love to go," I say excited.
"Great, because Dylan and Lily already said yes," he says. I laugh lightly as the waiter comes and plops our food down in front of us. We eat our food and plan the trip to the lake house.
