AUTHORS NOTE~ hey guys, sorry for the late update. I've been busy with school and cheer. Anyway, here's the fifth chapter hope you like it. Picture of Alice above!

"What are you planning on wearing for homecoming?"

"I'm not going," I say flopping down on the bed next to Chelsea.

"Why the hell not?" Rachel exclaims.

"I was boring last year, why on earth would I waste ten bucks just to go again and be bored," I explain.

"What if you get asked?" Chelsea asks. She's flipping through the the shows on Netflix on Rachel's TV. I'm sitting next to her on Rachel's bed while she's at her vanity applying coats and coats of mascara and eyeshadow. Not dark eyeshadow, light eyeshadow that brings out your eyes.

"If I get asked, then maybe," I say playing with a few strands of my hair.

"Maybe Justin will ask you," Chelsea says.

"Yeah, sure, because Justin, whom I've known for my entire life will ask me out," I say with a scoff. (Hint the sarcasm in that).

"Oh, come on, you don't see the look he always gives you! He's obviously smitten," Chelsea says with a smirk.

"No, he doesn't like me, that would be weird, he thinks of me as his little sister," I say.

"You guys are the same age," Rachel points out.

"Yeah, and brothers and sister don't make googlily eyes at each other when ever your in the same room," Chelsea says. She finally lands on a channel that is just a cooking show.

"We do not!" I exclaim. I always liked Justin, but I always felt that he never felt the same way.

"God, your kind of clueless when it comes to boys. You maybe book smart. But you sure as hell ain't boy smart," Chelsea says. She's always saying things like that. She also always say y'all and ain't. Don't even ask why. Chelsea has platinum blonde hair with stunning blue eyes. She's dating Justin's best friend, Xander. They've been fri nods since middle school. Rachel, she has Bright red hear with freckles covering her face. She has more of a straight-to-the-point attitude. As in she doesn't really sugar coat anything.

"Whatever, even if he did like me, it's not like he'll ask me out. Don't you think that if he liked me he would of asked me out a while ago?" I say with sadness laced in my voice.

"I'm sure he likes you," Rachel said.
