"So what color should I make my tie?" He asked.
"Baby pink," I said. He made a face. I laughed. We were lying on my bed watching tv. It was a sweet moment.
"Al?" He asked.
"Yeah?"
"Why did you say yes to going to prom with me?" He asked. I sighed.
"Because, how could you say no to that?" I said. I tried to lighten the air, but I don't think it worked. Justin was always a lightweight when it came to feelings. He would try to stay confident and happy, but there were times when he just slips and starts to feel more insecure. Like now. "Why did you ask me?"
"Because I like you," he admitted. Annnndddd the confident Justin is back. I blush deeply.
"Well then maybe I like you back," I teased. He just laughed and pulled me into his warm chest.
