Part 20

Lachlans pov-

I was so happy she agreed to go out with me, but at the same time I wanted to skip the date. I want to skip the date and be able to call her mine. Part of me feels like I'm moving to fast, even though it's mainly in my head. The other half feels like I just needed her, not in a hook-up kind of way (even though I wouldn't object to that), I just need to be able to have an excuse to be around her all the time or touch her when I wanted to. (A/n Not in a bad way you perverts!)

I'm currently walking down the hallway to ask/tell Mitch that I'm going on a date with Gemma.

Walking up to his door I raise my fist to knock on the door when I hear talking.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Do you actually think you would have permission to be remotely close to Gem after what you said behind her back!?" Mitch yells then there's a small pause.

"She still doesn't know what you said and did-" Another pause. "I DON'T GIVE A DAMN! You had no right to use her as an excuse to get out of that situation, and now because of that there's a rumor that she's a slut! Well at least there was until I told them what really happened!"

Another long pause of silence happens.

"Well guys, let me put it this way, I talked with everyone else in TC and we agreed that given the lease is almost up on the house anyway you two should just pack up your shit and get the fuck out. More my form of wording than Adams. Look because I'm learning from Gem to forgive and I will but I will not forget, see you guys when you come to pick up your stuff."

Another silence and a rough sigh.

*knock knock*

I hear a faint 'come in' and I open the door.

"Mitch buddy? What was that about?" I ask thoroughly confused.

He sighs. "Tyler and Ty used Gem as a way to get away from plans with their girlfriends and blah blah blah. Long story short they lost my trust and most of the houses, and because the house rent is almost over we've all agreed to have them move out."

"Oh." Is all I say. " Why wasn't I aware of this?"

" During this you were up stairs kissing my sister." He answers with a smirk but a little warning in his eyes.

"I- uh- huh? H-how did you know?" I stammer and he chuckles.

"Well one, I assumed that's where you'd be because the guys told me what happened in Florida and two, when u was walking to my room I heard you tell her to kiss you." Mitch answers slyly.

"So-"

"You better take her in a date, I won't let my little sister just be an on call slut for you, if you want her, you're going to treat her right." He says standing up and puffing out his chest slightly which... intimidates me a little.

I chuckle nervously "That's actually what I was coming in here for, I wanted to ask for your approval to take her on a date in a couple of days."

He thinks for a moment then smiles. "Better treat her right aussie."

I smile and nodd before heading to Adam and Alesa's room. The door was open so I just walk in and see the two watching reruns of Mythbusters.

"Hey Lachy." Alesa greets and I greet but a 'hi' .

"Hey so Alesa, I need your help." I state and it's seriously awkward right now because... I just is alright!?

She sits up and so does Adam, they turn the TV down.

"With...?" Adam drags.

I shut the door and stand at the edge of the bed.

"Well this is weird but I want some help on picking out where to take Gem for a.. a uh- *cough* a date *cough*"

Alesa squeals and gets all girly then tells Adam to get out of the room but of course, before he leaves, he tells me 'If you hurt her I will kill you.'

"Come, sit." Alesa squeals and I sit in the edge on the bed. "So, where were you planing originally?"

I shrugg. "I dunno. Every girl I've ever taken on a date has been super girly and insisted on planing the date."

She thinks for a moment then her face lights up. "OOH! Here's what you should do!"

Gems pov-

I've been laying in bed for over an hour now and still I can't fall asleep, in fact I was wide awake but my body was tired.

A small creak sounded then a click said the door opened and closed again.

There was a dip in the bed and a hand rested on my thigh and slowly slid up and over to my stomach.

I jumped slightly the heard a chuckle.

"Chill it's just me." Lachlan laughed.

I scoff. "It could be 'just you' but that doesn't me-" I stop and remove his hand from touching me and scoot over to where his body isn't against mine anymore. "Its doesn't mean you can just put your hands me like that."

"Awe. Well can I do this?" He asks then move over to kiss me but I turn away from him.

"Nope. You can't kiss me or touch me like we're dating until we've been dating for a while." I answer mockingly but a serious undertone in my voice.

"Who says?" He whispers in my ear and I giggle quietly.

"Me." I whisper then stand up from the bed, or at least try to, Lachlan grabs my arms and pulls me into arms hug from behind. He pulls me back and my body lands on the bed, me giggling. Lachlan lays on top of me now, his arms wrapped around my body and he rests his face in the nook of my neck.

"Haha, gotchyah." He chuckles and I wriggle to get out of his grasp.

"You. Have. NOTHING!" I quietly shout, fighting against his grasp.

"If I have nothing why am I fighting so much to keep it in my possession?" He asks.

"Because. You're fucking crazy." I giggle.

"Oi, fish fish fish!" He laughs and I do too. "You have hurt my soul and now I'm dead."

Lachlan then releases his grasp on me and instead goes dead-weight on my body.

"Ugh! Lachlan get offff." I whine and push his body over to the other side of the bed. I can see a faint smile on his lips as I push him. With one final push, I shiver his body completely off of me but he then pulls me on top of him.

My arms and legs rest on either side of his body and his arms pull my waist towards his torso.

"Lachlan." I sigh annoyed. "Let. Goooo."

He chuckles but holds my body to his.

"Not until you kiss me." He pushes but is refuse.

I sit there fighting against his grip for what seems like forever.

"Fine." I groan and slowly lower myself closer to his face. "Just a peck though."

I quickly kiss his lips and go to pull back but Lachlan resists and moves his head up.

I lean back far enough so he can't chase the kiss and he groans in annoyance.

"You're no fun!" He laughs and I roll my eyes. I push out of his grip and slide back over to my original place on the bed.

"You got what you wanted Lachy. You can leave now." I reply.

"Well... how about one for the walk to my room?" He asks in a begging tone. I groan. I don't need to deal with him right now, I need to sleeepppppp.

"No-" I yawn "Lachlan, goto bed, I need to sleep."

"Please babe?" He begs.

"I'm not your babe Lachlan." I answer nervously.

"Not yet, but you will be. Oh and dress in what you usually wear for our date." He says and quickly kisses my cheek before leaving.

I sigh. Our date. :)
