Part 39 (A)

Gemma's pov-

I want to do somthing. I can't go back to her. I want to be free and if that means being on my own, that's what I'll do.

Vik is asleep in the chair beside me as I silently slip his phone from the bedside table.

Typing in his password that thank god isn't changed, I begin my research. She can't force me to leave my family, and she can't take the money our parents left for me, she was dead to them before they were to her anyway.

7 hours later.
9:20 a.m.

''YES! VIK! WAKE UP! I KNOW WHAT I NEED TO DO!" For the first time in weeks I showed emotion. For the first time in weeks, I was human.

Vik, startled, fell half from his chair and many nurses as well as my family busted through the door.

"Guys! I can save me! For the first time in my life. I know exactly ow to save myself." The words poured out of me. To others they may sound sad, broken or hopeless even but not me. They were music to my ears.

"Sweetie what are you talking about?" One of the nurses asked and the others urges for an answer.

"I'll explain later, but for right now I need someone to call my lawyers, get Mitch to get his ass here now and have them both bring a summary of the court case/progress right now. I need everything any of you can dig up on me and my family, including medical history, family history with crime and violence. I need to call up an old friend who worked with my mother at her company. And finally I need brown hair dye and an outfit fit for court. I'll explain later. Please, we don't have much time." My demands seemed to confuse them before I hopped out of bed and ripped the IV's out of my arm, not caring that it hurt.

"Please, I'm begging you. Just do as I ask, and I'll explain as soon as the lawyers and Mitch get here." And to that everyone went every which way to hunt down what we needed. I will win this time. I have no other options.
