Part 32

Mitchs pov-

I was so excited for Gem to see the new house. When Jerome and I were here last week we were only able to give a few directions on how the renovation should have started but I hope things are still presentable.

The entire ride to the airport Gem was looking out the window and blushing so Jerome decided to play a prank on her while I drive.

She wasn't looking at the front windshield at all so I slammed on the brakes as hard as I could and slammed on the horn on the empty highway. Gem screamed so loud my eardrums nearly busted and her face flushed pale.

Once realisation hit her she was pissed.

"YOU MOTHER FUCKER! WHAT THE FUCKING HELL!? YOU GAVE ME A FUCKING HEART ATTACK YOU ASS!" She screeched and I had to pull over I was laughing so hard.

Once I gained my composure I started to drive again and Gemma had calmed down she giggled at her own anger.

I glance over had Jerome who was still filming his own laughter.

"Make sure you bleep out of the cuss words in the vlog." I laugh and he nods, Gem rolls her eyes.

We arrive at the house and see the trucks of the construction workers parked outside getting ready to leave. There was a dumpster by the entrance full of old sheet-rock from a walk we asked the to knock-out.

Gems eyes visibly widened at the gorgeous small house. The outside was great but during construction I'm scared to see the interior.

I felt a pit in my stomach gather as we got ready to show Gem the new place she will be living at soon.

As we open the door to the house Jerome and I exchange worried looks but open shove the door open to reveal a freshly renovated home with new appliances and 6 newly designed bedrooms.

All of our faces shine in awe at we stare at the beauty. It's a nice small house, perfect for the three of us and if we have some guests.

I couldn't help but smile at Gems not very well hidden smile.

"THIS is our house in a few weeks?" She states, her tone one of disbelief.

I nod, a grin on my face.

"It's nothing compared to the size of the team crafted house but it's perfect for the BenjaBac duo and the little Gem stone, eh?" Jerome chimes in and I smile in agreement and so does Gem.

"It's is beautiful." She states. "Erm... Who's room is who's?"

We all exchange glances then realization strikes us all at the same moment. We drop our bags and go bounding through the house looking for the room perfect for us.

My long legs are an advantage in the race but Gemma had a head start given she was closest to the stairs.

We all turn different directions and search different room trying to find the biggest when Gem shouts 'Dibs!!' And it echoes through the house. This makes it clear that she found the biggest room so me and Jerome fight and shove each other playfully as we search for the second and third biggest rooms.

After running around like maniacs I can tell that the second room I went to was the second biggest and I go bounding in that direction. I grasp the handle quickly and shove it open, making the handle hit the stopper on the wall.

I throw myself onto the bed and shout my cheers and whoops to let Jerome know he lost but that was not at all the case.

"Mitch buddy? What are you cheering about? This is the third biggest room." Jerome interrupts me and I give him a confused glance and he laughs running down the hall to the room two doors down from Gems.
