Emma's POV
I spent four years of my life in Canary Island, Spain. Apparently, my parents are millionaires when in Brazil. I went to the hospital with my father and Uncle Dom. My new baby brother was to be born. "I hope we aren't late," I replied as we got out of the car. The nurses came out to us, along with Uncle Dom's new girlfriend, Elena. Only because Aunt Letty had died and been buried. "Are we late?"
"No," Elena replied. "You're just in time."
"You're going to be a great father, Brian," Uncle Dom smiled.
"What makes you so sure?" Dad asked.
"You did perfectly fine with me for the past fifteen years," I smiled.
"And because I'll be there to kick your ass if you ain't," Uncle Dom smiled.
"Go," I smiled. "I can't wait to see Jack."
"Brian," Uncle Dom called. "Remember, the second you go through those doors, everything changes." Dad looked at me. "Our old lives are done."
"I understand," Dad nodded and went inside.
"I'm having a baby brother," I nodded. "But what about my sweet sixteen?"
"You'll have that sweet sixteen, baby girl," Uncle Dom replied. "Your dad hasn't forgotten and neither has your uncle."
"A new baby on the way," I sighed.
I never understood what other life my parents had. I was kept out of it because I was told you'll be safer if you don't know. So I left it alone. Hopefully, their past doesn't catch up to their future like most realities do when you have such a past that you have to keep it hidden...even from your own children. But I understand the importance of keeping me safe. I don't know how long ago it was, but Uncle Dom's intentions are good.Brian's POV
We were able to take Jack home three weeks after he was born. A couple months (10 months) have passed. Leena and I were sitting outside in the lawn bonding with Jack. "Do you like this?" I asked holding a blue toy sports car at Jack. "Yes." I missed Jack's head. "That's my boy." Leena smiled as she handed me the paper airplane. "All right, legs see how this thing flies." I threw the paper airplane and Dom pulled up. "It's Uncle Dom. What do you know?"
"Hi Jack," Dom smiled walking up to us. "Are you already pushing imports on him?"
"You say Dad's not pushing anything," I smiled. "He chose that car."
"We know he's an O'Conner, but, I brought you something, Jack," Dom smiled as he held out a Dodge Charger. Jack grabbed it. "Yeah! He's also a Toretto."
"I don't know," I nodded.
"Luckily, he has a couple more years to decide, right?" Leena asked.
"I think he decided, Leena," Dom replied.
We laughed. "I think it's time for his nap," Leena smiled. "I'm going to put him to nap, and have Emma watch him."
"Alright," I smiled as Leena went inside. Dom and I sat at the patio. "Alright Dom, what's going on with you?"
"This," Dom replied handing me an envelope. "Taken a week ago."
"Diplomatic Security Services," I read. "Hobbs." I got out the pictures. "He's trying to mess with your head. We buried Letty. She's dead."
"I need to know for sure," Dom sighed.
"Then, I'm going with you," I nodded.
"You said you were going to leave this life behind," Dom reminded me.
"We both said that and look where we are now," I sternly responded.
"He's right," Leena replied. "We're family. If we got a problem, we deal with it together." I looked at Dom. "I'll leave Emma in charge, Elena will be here with them. I'll feel safer knowing that the three of us are out there just like the old days." I held Leena's hands. "We're stronger together. We always were. Now, let's go get Letty and bring her home." Dom, Leena, and I met up with Han, Rome, Tej, and Gisele in London. I grabbed a gun off the table. "This equipment is nice."
"Why do I smell baby oil?" Rome asked.
"You keep running your pie-hole, you're going to smell an ass-kicking," Hobbs replied walking in with a girl.
"Alright, Hobbs, you for the best crew in the world standing right in front of you," Dom stated. "Now, give them a reason to stay."
"Our target is Owen Shaw," Hobbs replied. Leena's face got even more serious, if that is even possible. "Former major in the S.A.S., Spec-ops soldier."
"He ran the UK's Mobility Division in Kabul and Basra," Leena interrupted. We all looked at her. "I had to do some Intel as a tech analyst from home." She looked at Hobbs. "Owen Shaw was one of our names on that list."
"Ah, damn," Tej sighed. "That Mobility unit's the truth." I nodded. "We talking vehicular warfare. Best in the world. Those guys doing mess around."
"Leena you seem to have this," Hobbs nodded. "You have the floor."
"For years, they've been running jobs in Europe, but it's their most recent jobs that graduated then to a whole new level," Leena sighed. "Three targets, highly specific. The program terminal from an ICBM missile -"
"Got a little change?" Rome asked.
"Seriously?" Tej asked. "You're a millionaire, and you're still trying to ask for money?"
"That's how your stay a millionaire," Rome replied.
"I'm sorry, am I boring you?" Leena asked. Rome went to the vending machine. "Okay. Hobbs needs our help to pin Owen Shaw down."
"I didn't know any of this and I live with her," I nodded. "And we have a family. How do you find the time to do all bthis?"
"Discussions later," Leena nodded.
"Okay, so what does this all mean?" I asked.
"Which one of these things is a dollar?" asked Rome. Hobbs shot the vending machine. "Seriously?"
"Free snacks, on the house," Hobbs replied. "I want you to help me catch Shaw. He only has one piece left that he needs, and I intend to stop him before he gets to it."
"You know we're a family, Hobbs," I replied. "You wanna make this family whole again?" Hobbs nodded. "Get us to Letty, we'll get you Shaw, full pardons all the way around." I looked at Leena. "I wanna make sure my kids aren't to be messed with back in Spain." Leena nodded. "The kids are a part of this family too, but it has to be discreet so that they won't suspect a thing. Especially Emma." I looked at Hobbs. "Can you guarantee us this one thing in return?"
