Brian's POV
"Dom's here," I nodded.
"This is crazy," Rome replied. "What the hell is going on in here?"
"Our intelligence suggests that Ramsey will be transported by an armed motorcade through the Caucasus mountain range," Mr. Nobody replied. "If take care of the strange and reach their destination, Ramsey is as good as gone."
"So, let me get this straight," Rome sighed as we gathered around a table with a screen on it. "There is only one road that leads in or out, teardrops on every side, a motorcade from Hell protected by a small army from one mile in either direction?"
"Yeah, that's about it," Mr. Nobody responded.
"You done?" Sheppard asked.
"No, I'm not done," Rome butted in. "So, you all wanted me to break into a police station.. Then you asked me to stop. I wasn't happy about it, but I did it." I crossed my arms and looked at Rome. "Then you came up with this brilliant idea to shoot down one of the largest airplane ever. I I shot that shit the sky. It's nothing." Leena nodded. "But this right here, my friend, happens to be the stupidest idea I've ever heard of in my life."
"I forgot that you're the only one to bring that plane down," Tej sarcastically replied.
"No, no. The only thing I've ever seen him take down was No knees Denise," I smiled. "Remember, at prom?"
"Really, Brian?" Rome asked. "You're gonna do that right here?" I smiled. "See, y'all trying to get me off my point. All I'm saying is, I'm tired of everybody around me making all the decisions." Leena looked offended. "This time, I lead. Seriously. If I don't start making decisions, I'm out."
"Alright, Roman," Dom smirked. "What do you got?"
"Nothing because he's caught off guard," Emma chimed in.
"I mean, I wasn't trying to get into the whole leadership thing, like, now," Rome sighed. *You know I'm saying? I was just, kind of, talking about, like, at some point. Like, you know, when we...whatever." Rome touched a point on the road. "I mean, I think...let's hit it from here."
"I don't think that that's -"
"No, no, no," Rome cut off Sheppard. "Don't think. That's my job. Shh shh."
"Okay," Sheppard nodded. "It is impossible to hit it there." I looked at Emma who was seriously thinking. "That is literally the most secure spot on the mountain. Why? Because you cannot physically access it."
"See, that's what makes it so sweet," Rome replied. "Because it's the place that they least expect us to hit them from."
"As much as I hate to admit it, he's into something there," I nodded. "What do you think, Dom?"
"Here?" Dom asked pointing at the map. Rome nodded. "I think we got a plan."
"Completely wrong thinking," Mr. Nobody suggested. "And I like it."
"You see?" Rome nodded. "I'm good at this."
"Good?" Sheppard suggested. "Okay." Sheppard zoomed on on the road on the geographic on the table. "How are you planning on getting in that road?"
"Well, Tej?" Rome asked.
"I don't have one for this," Tej nodded.
"Emma?" Rome asked.
" I think I'm actually have a plan for that," Emma smiled.
Sheppard looked at Rome. "What? I delegated," Rome shrugged. "That's what good leaders do. Leader!"
"You know, when I was reading your files, I was impressed with what you've accomplished with your team," Mr. Nobody responded. "But meeting them now, I've got to say, Dom, you've truly got a gift. Consider my workshop your new playhouse. I think you'll find our cars extremely appealing." Mr. Nobody walked away. "And your team is now complete."
"Letty," I pointed. Dom walked over to her. "Alright. Emma, what is your plan to get us on that road?"
"Cargo plane, open hatch, drive our cars out, and parachute right onto the road," Emma smiled.
"And you know this how?" Rome asked.
"Mom's a Toretto and Dad's an O'Conner," Emma smiled. "It's in the genes."
"Brian, we're gonna need long-travel suspension, limited-slip differentials on all of them," Dom commanded as he walked over to us with Letty.
"How you doing?" I asked as I hugged Letty.
"Tej!" Dom exclaimed. "I want the demon child between that..." He pointed at a Charger. "...and that." He pointed at an armor truck. "Make it happen."
"That's a lot of armor," Tej replied. "It's just gonna add more weight. Slow you down."
"This time, it ain't just about being fast," Dom nodded. We got four cars and an armor truck. We drove it into a plane and took off. I was in a car with Letty, Emma with Rome. Dom, Brian, and Tej were solo. We put in our ear piece. "This is good."
"Can I switch drivers?" Leena asked.
"You'll be okay Leena," I replied. "My car will be totaled in the process anyways."
"Yeah, I'm good," Rome stated. "From the streets. You know what I'm saying?" Rome chuckled. "It's nothing."
The plane shook. "Hey, Roman, you're freaking out, ain't you?" Tej asked.
"No," Rome replied.
"Yeah, you are," Tej replied.
"I said no," Rome repeated.
"Listen, man, it takes a grown man to embrace his feelings," Tej explained. "If you need to cry, just go ahead and cry." I laughed. "As your friend, you know I'm concerned about your well-being, which is why I took the precaution of putting some adult diapers in your glove compartment."
"Yo, can you just chill out, man?" asked Rome.
"I have seen some crazy shit, Dom, but this could make some waves," Mr. Nobody stated. "So, let's just try to keep it as low-key as possible, huh?"
"Don't we always?" I asked.
"I'll tell you what, you knock it down a couple notches this time and I'll swap out my Belgian for a keg of Corona," Mr. Nobody negotiated.
"You'd be doing yourself a favor, there," Dom replied.
"Can somebody just walk me through what we're supposed to be doing?" Rome asked.
"Come on, Rome, this is your plan," I replied. "You gotta embrace it."
"No, this was not my plan," Rome sighed.
The hatch opened. "Oh yeah," I smiled. "Here we go. Game time."
We started our engines. "Roman, you need some fresh air?" Tej asked. "'Cause you're about to get a whole lot of it."
"He's over here praying, Dad," Emma responded. "Can I switch?"
"Okay, here we go," Dom replied.
Don dropped first. "Just when you didn't think it could get any better, huh?" I asked. I drove my car in reverse out the hatch. "Oh shit!"
