One month later...
•Saruhiko Fushimi, J-Rank, JUNGLE's leading clansman•
I would have expected something more from completing the ranks. A sushi party is not what I had in mind but I guess it's something. Of course the Green King, Nagare told me that it wasn't the goal.
My thoughts wondered back to Seri and Kusanagi-san. I guess they had figure out where I am now and what I'm doing. I'm also pretty sure Kusanagi-san would have already told Misaki by now.
"I would have thought they would come here before you did, Fushimi," Iwa-san said in a disappointed tone. "They wanted to congratulate you."
I was confused by this. Are they more J-Rankers? No, it couldn't be. All of them are here. Did they manage to recruit more in these past few week?
The sound of metallic doors opened from behind me was what answered my question and what shocked me next was the person whose standing by the door or should I say two of them.
Eon and Ion.

The twins arrived and Eon was piggy-backing on Ion. I thought it was out of fun but when I saw her appearance it made me think twice.
She looks paler than the last time I saw her, like she was sick. Her eyes showed a distant look and she does not seem to be aware of her surroundings. A glint of green flash through her eyes before it was gone again. Ion however, looks nothing like her, the same as ever.
The twins walked over to the sofa that was behind Iwa-san and Ion sat down. He made Eon lay down her head on his lap. Eon didn't argue or anything and as a matter of fact, she looks like a doll without a will of her own. Eon's eyes were now looking at the ceiling.
"We're sorry," Eon spoke up, her voice did not have the liveliness in it. "We thought we would have arrived on time—,"
"—but we had to avoid being in public," Ion said in continuation.
"Anyway," they both said, directing their heads towards me. "Congratulations, Fushimi. Welcome to the elite group of JUNGLE."
I nodded my head in a slow way, still dazed by the twins arrival. Was Eon always like this? Her appearance has changed drastically that it seems to be alien. What has Ion done to her that made Eon like this? I wanted to speak up to ask but Sukuna, the little boy noticed and glared at me to keep quiet.
"Ion, I want the increase of strains," Nagare said, bluntly.
"Again?" Ion said in pissed off tone. "I thought that my clan was enough."
"Ion." Iwa-san, the Grey King said in a stern voice. "Remember who you're loyal to."
Ion nodded and made a scared face, pulling Eon a little bit further away from him. When did they take orders from him? Is this the loyalty that the Purple and Grey Kings once had? If so, it doesn't look like the Purple King are under control.
"I will ensure that the number of strains would increase by tomorrow," Eon said in a bored way.
"And how are you going to do that," Yukari said.
"The Blue King promised something in return after we gave some information about ourselves," Ion said, bluntly.
"He didn't promise anything like that," I said, remembering to a month ago when we had that meeting.
