"Oh! This one!" My hand tightens around Sage's wrist so I can drag her into another shop, it looks kinda new and uppity but you never know what you'll find.

"Are you sure your dad's ok with you being out this late?" My crush's responsible adult nature is starting to take effect.

Seriously?

"Stop treating me like a kid. I'm gonna be 16 soon. Really soon. I think I can be away from daddio for a while." I reassure her without trying to sound too ticked. It's annoying. Can't I have one outing with her where she doesn't make me feel like I'm 3 years younger? Or more?

"I don't want to be accused of kidnapping, kiddo." She twists the knife with that nick name while looking through some glass, her eyes stopping on something while she rests her hands on her knees, and...what's she looking at?

Is that a ring?

Hm.

My eyes focus to the thin silver band, it's concept that of a ribbon tied for a finger to fit through with...aw how cute, that's the tiniest bow I've ever seen.

Neat-o. They made a ribbon out of stainless steel. Not too bulky either. It's actually looking kinda girly and delicate.

Is Sage gonna get it? I think it'd look good on her. Maybe she needs a boost though or some money.

"Sa-"

"Oh my gosh! That's sooo cute!" We're both interrupted in thought by three girls that look like absolute popular botox b1tches either fanning themselves or pointing and holding their cheeks while looking at one another when the lady behind the fancy counter rolls over in her tall chair to give them some service.

I never will get why not everyone is as awesome as Sage.

"You like this?" The lady with her hair pulled back and V-neck red dressy shirt that hugs her chunkiness pulls it out of the arrangement to let all 3 girls take a look when they huddle and lean.

Sage is watching them. I guess she's amused too.

"That's so cute. It looks so designer made. Like really, one of those subtle statement pieces." The farthest one picks it up for the middle blonde to gawk at.

"That's actua-"

"How much is it?" The chocolate top and thinnest of all of them interrupts when I shake my head and sigh at these typicals. They were crawling all over Vegas when I left.

Being honest.

Some of them were crawling all over me.

Maybe if I try hard enough I can block it out.

Replace them with-sh1t, I'm looking at Sage's chest.

"It's 49.99. Sale price."

"Dude, get it. You might not be able to find it again." Farthest chick urges, blonde takes the thought, chocolate top cuts in, it's like a game...

"If you don't get it, I will and I won't share and I'll make you so jealous you'd wish you'd gotten it." Wait. Is that the only one?

"Sage di-"

"I'm kinda hungry. Do you wanna go to the food court now? I'll buy." She winks at me when I take a second.
