Tossing and turning all hours of the night,
Lay in bed staring at the ceiling as if something is there,
Haven't slept in 3 days eyes are red as blood,
You start to become paranoid every sound alarming you,
Thoughts racing through your mind your body is so weak,
As you lay down and close your eyes trying to fall asleep,
Seconds later a nightmare awakes you from your sleep,
In your bed you sit sweating heart is pumping extremely fast,
You begin looking around the room to see if anyone is there,
But the room is empty nothing but you and the air,
The mind of an insomniac wonders for a million miles,
Sleep is what you want so badly but your body screams no,
Curled up in the corner rocking side to side with sweat running down your face.
