Alone

Feeling lonely as you sit thinking about life,

No significant other to share your thoughts,

You feel loved but not the special kind,

When you fall no one picks you up,

The sign you are alone begins to weigh heavy,

On your conscious sadness stirs up,

Talking about it helps but no one is there,

Solving your problems is like running into a brick wall,

Depression starts to seem inevitable daily suffering,

Only if you had someone to distract you from the pain,

Your heart so cold to never be heated again,

Pain and aggression has frozen it in time,

Forever alone looking for a way out,

Just each attempt seems like an epic fail,

You want to feel free set sail and release.
