Chapter 6

CHAPTER 6

~2 Days later~

Tyler has been a bit distant these first few days. Maybe he just doesn't want to make me feel pressured. I guess today we just got new neighbors which makes me happy because I've been a bit bored. I have nothing to do so hopefully the new neighbor's are about my age.

I was walking to the neighbors house. I was walking along the sand which felt great to my feet. I liked being out here, it was really peaceful and calm.I had to hurry because Tyler would be back soon from his job interview and would wonder were I went. He would think in calling me but I left my phone in my room.I finally got to the house and I knocked gently on the door.

An older lady anwsered the door. She looked about 40 but I wasn't sure.

"Hello"

"Hi, my name is Teresa and I live over in that house" I said pointing at my house. Wow did I just call it mine.? " I just came to say hi since were going to be neighbors."

She smiled " Well come in and sit down, this is your house" she said motioning me to go inside. The inside of the house was pretty but not as much as Tyler's house. I'm being honest I'm not just saying this cause I stay there.

" I'm so glad you live next door because I have a daughter at the age of 17 and a son whose 19. They said it would be boring here but now they will have you as company." she said sitting down next to me on the couch.

"Well thats great because I was getting a little bored here myself" I said as we both started laughing.

" Well I will go get them so you can meet them." she said as she got up and headed to the stairs.

"Brian, Jasmine get down here , we have company! " she yelled up the stairs.

" Coming mom" I heard a girl say.

I saw a girl coming down the stairs and she was so pretty. She had natural red hair and it was strait at the top but wavey at the bottom. I loved it. She was also really skinny, too much u could say.

" Jasmine, this is.." "What do you say your name was sweet heart?"

"Teresa" I say standing up and reaching out my hand.

" Yes this is Teresa and she came to visit us , she is living next door to us." she said as Jasmine took my hand.

"Hi , im Jasmine as you probably already heard my mother say" she said smiling at me.

I chuckled a bit.

"Nice to meet you Jasmine"

"Jasmine, were is your brother?" the lady asked. "I'm right here mom" said a boy that was walking down the stairs.I couldn't help but think ' he is hot!'. He had blond straight hair , perfectly tanned skin and a six pack you could see through his tight blue shirt.

He stopped walking when he got to the end of the steps. He saw me and smirked.

" Well hello there" he said holding out his hand.

" Hi" I said shaking his hand.

" My name is Brian, yours is " he said kissing my hand.

I was going to anwser when Jasmine anwsered for me.

" Her name is Teresa and she is our new neighbor and she's our age." she said excitedly"Right Teresa?"

"Ya I'm 18"

"18?" Brian asked surprised and a bit glad.

"Yup"

"Well I will just leave so you guys can get to know each other." said Jasmine and Brian's mom as she headed up stairs.

"Well I kinda have to go but I will come back I promise"I said taking a few steps towards

the door.

" Aww so early, why " said Jasmine with a sad puppy dog face. I looked at Brian who was just starring at me.

" Well my friend Tyler is waiting for me" I said looking at Jasmine agian.

" Is he just your friend? " asked Brian.

I looked a bit confused but I nodded my head.

Brian smirked at me again and said " ok I will walk you to your house"

" oh you don't need to its just a few meters away" I said blushing a little bit.

" but I want to" he said insisting.

I sighed. "ok , fine. Bye Jasmine" I said giving her a hug.

" Bye, see you tomorrow right?" she asked.

" Right" I said heading out of the door. I could feel Brian coming behind me.

The whole walk there I was quiet. It was a bit awkward but before I knew it we were at Tyler's house.

"ok well this is it" I said turning to look at him.

" Do you believe in love at first sight? " Brian asked.

Before I could answer Brian had connected his lips with mine and he was kissing me.
