Train wreck-A Rucas and Joshaya story

Riley's POV

Lucas told me he wanted to speak to me tonight. He said he needed to take me somewhere, all I can think about is where he could be taking me when we are on an island with nowhere to go but I can't even speak to my best friend about any of this because we still haven't made up after her betrayal.
Oh speak of the backstabber,...

'Hey' Maya spoke softly.
'Yes?' I asked in a sassy tone trying to sound angry with her.
'Okay Riley sassy you doesnt really work' she laughed trying to be funny.
'You don't get to tell me what works and what doesn't anymore' I snapped back at her. She looked hurt by this comment but she had hurt me so I didn't want to feel sorry for her but I did. I think she noticed my eyes softening because she smiled at me shyly.
'Riley please I know your mad but you forgave Lucas please I will do anything to make it up to you' she gabbled.
I got an idea then 'okay Maya wanna make it up to me? Then you have to make it up to josh. He is hurting badly and I want you to help him feel better!' I ordered. She looked surprised but understanding. She knew I wouldn't want her to do anything for myself because I always put others before me, and my uncle josh was hurting and that's what needed fixing.

Maya agreed to help and stalked of to talk to Josh, after about an hour maya returned and josh looked happier than ever. I stuck by my promise and I made up with Maya.

'I'm so glad to have you back peaches!' I shouted whilst hugging her.
'Me too sweetie, me too!' She said back to me. We clung to each other until Lucas shouted that it was time to go. I skipped off now happy that my life was back. I grabbed Lucas' hand and he took me off to his surprise....

We arrived and he had set up a beautiful, romantic picnic. This must have been hard seeing as there is hardly anything on this island. I sat down with Lucas beside me and we dug into our coconut picnic. We talked and laughed and got on like nothing had ever happened between Lucas and Maya. We were so happy until farkle walked over.
'What are you doing here?' Lucas asked agitated, I was confused by the tone in his voice. Had farkle and Lucas fell out?
'I have just come to see Riley, I wanted to make sure she was okay' farkle answered looking over at me.
'Okay well she is so can you leave us so that we can get back on with our date.' Lucas emphasised on the word date, which would have seemed strange but I didn't notice because he had called it a date. And I was sooo happy about it.
Farkle then walked away annoyed.

'Lucas, what was that all about?' I asked concerned by the fire in his eyes.
'Nothing Riley' Lucas snapped. I was surprised by this. Wait I had seen this face before. I had seen it when charlie gardener asked me to the semi-formal and Lucas was jealous.
'Omg are you jealous?!' I asked rather loudly. Lucas looked at me before scoffing 'huh no!'
'Omg you are totally jealous ' I teased. 'Wait but jealous of what?' I asked.
'Nothing Riley just drop it okay' Lucas insisted.
'Wait, do you think that me and farkle like each other.?' I asked suddenly serious.
'Yes Riley, I do' I was shocked by his answer I had thought I would only hear those words at our wedding but how could he think this?
'But why are you acting like this when you know it would never happen?' I answered before seeing Maya walking over to us, she stood next to me and put her hand on my shoulder.
'Because I love you. Riley I am in love with you!' Lucas shouted back.
'Did you just say that you love me?' I asked Lucas before leaning back and whispering to Maya 'did he just say that he loves me?'
'Yes sweetie. Yes he did!' She answered me whilst I smiled uncontrollably.
I looked Lucas in the eyes 'I love you too Lucas!' I said before I leaned forwards, grabbed his face and kissed him.

Well rilaya is back!!! Josh is happy! Rucas are back together. So just farkle and smackle to sort out now!
