Josh's POV:

I thought it was all over for me. I almost gave up I was about to until I saw her... Maya was leaning over me 'maya ? Is that you' I asked her in case I was hallucinating and it was her she was really there. I had something on my leg stopping me from moving when all I wanted to do was throw my arms around her and make sure she was okay but I couldn't instead I lay there still , holding her hand and confessed my true feelings for her. I was ready for my death but Maya kept trying to pull at the metal on my leg. I was losing to much blood and was about to slip away intonthe darkness when she pulled the metal off and wrapped my leg up to stop the bleeding. I threw my arms around her then as I had wanted to before. But then we thought about the others and knew we had to go look.

There was no more survivors among us outside of the train and it was clear that they were still inside of the train. It was a risk to get back into the carriage but we were willing to do it if it meant saving our friends. I climbed onto the train and helped Maya on, I noticed her clutching her stomach and saw she had blood all over her and it was clear she was struggling but she insisted to keep going. I was coughing violently as the smoke wrapped itself around me and as I bent down I saw a long haired boy in a turtle neck and it was clear who it was.

Maya grabbed my hand to pull me towards farkle so that we could help him. He was just laying there and we couldn't tell if he was breathing or not but we knew we had to get him off of the train fast. So Maya put his arm around her neck and took him of the train whilst I stayed looking for Riley and Lucas.
