Riley's POV

'Lucas we need to talk' I said walking up to him. 'Sure su shine what's up?' He asked me. I think he could tell I wasn't very amused by the nickname that I usually loved. 'Its about Maya' I stated. He looked at me confused. 'And you' I added. Then his face dropped as he realized what I was talking about?

'Riley I...' I didn't want to hear his excuses so I cut him off. 'No Lucas, no excuses. You kissed Maya' he gulped at this. 'Why
Lucas? I thought we were good? Was I not good enough for you?' I said whilst tears streamed down my face. He looked at me sympathetically. 'Of course your good enough Riley, it was a mistake! I never wanted to hurt you!' He told me whilst putting his hands on my shoulders. 'Well you did hurt me Lucas. You hurt me bad. I forgave you for keeping secrets and we were in a good place but now I find this out. Can we ever go back to how we were before?' I sobbed whilst he looked into my eyes. 'We can work on it Riley. If you want things to be like before we can work on it because I do love you. I want to be with you more than anything' Lucas said into my ear before bringing me into a hug. I nodded and whispered 'as long as it was just a kiss. Nothing else happened right?' He stiffened and then said 'no Riley of course not. It was just a kiss' and then we kissed.

Lucas POV

I can't believe I have just lied to Riley. I really do love her and I don't deserve her, she has forgiven me for anything. But there is no way she would ever forgive me for what we did. And them I lied about it right in her face. Why were we so stupid?

I looked over to Maya who had hurt in her hurt obviously she had argued with Riley before. Riley doesn't know. I lied to her, Maya lied to her. The two closest people to her lied to her face... We are awful friends

What is the deal with Maya and Lucas? What else have they done? What did they lie about? Will Riley be okay after this? Will rucas triumph and be endgame? Thoughts?
