Maya's POV
I didn't know what had happened. How could it happen? I was in a pile of ruble and smoke surrounded me, I pulled my self up from the floor and clutched to my stomach which was bleeding heavily. I was choking on the smoke and I couldn't find any of my friends. LUCAS?! RILEY?! JOSH?! FARKLE?! No answer from anybody. I was outside which meant that I had crashed through the windows with several others but it looked like I was the only survivor until I heard a weazing sound coming from close by I ran over to the body and it was josh.
Maya? Is that you?.... Yes josh I replied there was blood coming from his leg and it seemed to be stuck under a peice of metal and I couldn't lift it. Suddenly Josh grabbed my hand and whispered to me 'Maya if I don't make it I want you to know that age doesn't matter to me anymore I see that love is about how much you care for someone not the age. So know that I do care about you and I always have I just haven't realised it'. I was starting to cry but I knew I had to stay strong Don't worry josh your not going to die I'll get you out of here and I yanked at the large piece of metal and it moved from his leg. He gave me a giant hug as I helped him up and I tied a peice of fabric from my jacket around his leg to stop the bleeding and we set out looking for our friends.
