Lucas POV

I saw Riley biting her lip as she looked at me trying to figure something out. I looked at her and she looked away blushing. I looked to the floor with a smirk on my face wow she was so cute when she was embarrassed. Well actually she was always cute, when she was laughing, shocked, scared, upset and especially when she was looking at me and she was like always looking at me and I loved it. She had a look in her eyes which always drew me into her. I guess it's because I love her ALOT but she will never know how much we had an argument about the Maya thing again. I'm sick of this I just want to get of this island to get back to our old lives Riley and Lucas, Maya and josh, farkle and smackle. The right couples the way it should be.

It was getting dark again and so me and Riley headed out again like we did every night to co
Left any possible food sources, we already had water but the food was running low so we went out every night and then rationed out what we had found. It was kind of awkward walking through the woods with Riley when we went talking. I looked at Riley and she moved her hair round to the back of her ear when she smiled for no reason.
'What?' I ask her smirking. She looks up at me suddenly clearly surprised I was speaking to her.
'Huh? Oh nothing... It was nothing' she finally answered shaking her head slowly.
'Come on riles you know that you can tell me anything' I say taking her hands in mine and interlocking our fingers.
'I... I was just thinking about new York our lives and our relationship' she whispered weakly. I was surprised at this I thought she had forgotten our connection.
'We can still have that if you just let me...' I was cut of. Riley was shaking her head at me 'no Lucas, we can't. We can never be like that again. Its too late too many problems, to much trouble not right.' She was rambling a lot. I looked at her as she continued speaking and without knowing what I was doing I grabbed her waist pulled her close and kissed her. She was surprised at first but soon began to kiss back and placed her arms around my neck. A little kiss turned into something steamy but we didn't go even further I knew Riley wouldn't want it yet and I knew that I was her first real kiss apart from some silly thing farkle did after a play which was only on the chin and I got lips. It was the best kiss I had ever had.

So Riley and Lucas... Back together? Or just a one time thing??
