[Cassandra's POV]

When my eyes open again, I'm in an unfamiliar room a very comfortable bed beneath me as I feel my body sink slightly into the mattress. I feel Dmitri's penetrating stare on my face before I turn to face him, sat leaning forward on a wooden chair. For a couple of seconds, I take the silent moment to look over him; almost black ruffled hair and slightly pink lips puckered in a small frown. As I look down, I notice how long his legs are; no wonder why he was so tall.

"I have some food for you." Dmitri speaks up, his deep voice reverberating through my frame.

"I'm not hungry." I murmur, sitting up on the bed.

I still had my clothes on, a good sign I guess.

"You've had nothing but a slice of chocolate cake." His brows furrow.

How the hell did he know that?

"I don't have to obey anyone if I don't want to since I'm not an Omega." I fold my arms defiantly.

"You don't want to go downstairs and eat, angel?" Dmitri leans back, rubbing his palms along his thighs and I shamelessly follow his hand movements with my eyes.

There was no way I was ready to go downstairs and risk facing one of his pack members; Blood Moon pack members were known to be just as ruthless as their Alpha.

I shake my head in answer to his question and wait for his response. Would he get angry again?

"You're not an Omega but you're Luna to this pack and I'm your Alpha; are you forgetting the role of an Alpha, angel?" Dmitri stands and leans over me, his veined arms leaning over the headboard.

I shake my head at him, knowing that Alpha's are to be respected and obeyed, regardless of a Werewolf's ranking.

His scent engulfs me and I struggle with the urge to reach up and bury my face at the crock of his neck, only inches away from looking and looking very inviting.

"Very well then."

I almost feel dejected when Dmitri pulls back and closes the door behind him when he walks out. I thought he'd do something horrible like torture me for defying him but my whining wolf from the lack of her mate's presence was enough torture.

...

Six hours had passed since I last ate and I'd been sat in this room for the past four hours. Looking at the digital clock, it reads 11PM and my belly begins to rumble.

Dmitri hadn't come back since he left but I could hear him coming in and out of his house. I'm guessing this was his home because everything held his scent.

I try the door and huff when I find it to be locked along with the three long windows along the brick wall of the bedroom; the lack of wallpaper, pain or anything else for that matter on one side of the four wide walls of this bedroom gave it the same edge that Dmitri carries.

I was guessing that this was his bedroom, from the matte black walls to the steel four poster king sized bed with black and white pillows, duvets and throw. As I scan over his floor to ceiling book shelf, I hear footsteps approaching and run back to the bed as sit crossed legged in the centre of it.

I much look a wreck with my lopsided bun and oversized hoody covering my childish pyjamas; Micah thought they were cute. I frown as I wonder how my pack, former pack, namely Micah, Caleb, Fae, Delilah and Jazz must be reacting to my disappearance.

When Dmitri walks in, I immediately draw my knees up to my chest, forming a barrier whilst I feel my wolf stir at his presence. I'm surprised when he turns his back to me and picks out a piece of clothing and a towel before dropping it beside me.
