Teenage Summer (One Direction Fanfic)

Chapter 18

                                                                Ashley’s POV

                I woke up, on the floor at Lorraine’s house dazed and confused until the memories came back to me. I spent the night at her house as tradition before one of our birthdays.

 Lorraine and I got drunk of course, her mom probably noticed but didn't care. Her mom figures that if we're not driving, we can drink. But, she never said this to our faces...

                I rose up from the floor, stretching out and bounded downstairs to see her already sitting on the couch with a bowl of cereal in her hands.

                “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOLO!!” I shouted as loud as I possibly could. I heard her laugh a bit before turning to me.

                “THANKS ASH! LOVE YOU!” she shouted back just as loudly. I winked and sat down next her, asking her about plans for today.

 "So, whatcha gonna do on your big day?!?! Hmm?", I asked excited.

 "I don't know. I'm just gonna hang with you, a few other friends, eat a small cake my mom bought, and eat dinner with Li. That's probably all that's gonna happen, but thank God! I hate parties for me!", she said still happy.

                      I guess Liam’s probably going to do something, as a surprise, so might as well call him.

                           "I got to pee, be back in a second", I said to Lorraine. She nodded with a mouthful of cereal.

                Leaving the room, I dialed Liam’s number, and waiting two rings before he picked up.

                “Hello?”

                “Hey, Liam. Just calling for plans for today, I’m assuming you’re planning something.”

                “Ha-ha, yeah actually. It’ll be a beach party; can you bring her to the pier around 8, and bring some friends? The more people there, the better.”  He chuckled lightly into the phone. Aw what a dedicated boyfriend.

                “No problem, Li. We’ll be there and I'll get the rest of the girls for the party".

It's gonna be a big party and very dressy so make sure she wears something really pretty on her. I want her to look good for the pictures I'm taking later", he said obviously smiling on the other end.

 "Of course, I'm gonna take her shopping in a second anyways. Well, I better get back to LoLo before she gets suspicious! Bye."

 He responded with a small bye and hung up, leaving me to go back out to the living room.

                “Kay, so, we’re going shopping and then to the beach tonight, no arguments.” I said before walking back upstairs to change out of my PJs.

                I quickly changed into white skinny jeans with rips and a beige sleeveless top that said ‘Wild Kisses,’ and pulling on bow sandals. I left my hair down and curled and put on gold eye shadow.

                I walked back downstairs to see Lorraine also changed and ready to go. She had on white shorts and a lace crochet crop top, a heart necklace, and her red hair also down flowing on to her shest.  She looked really pretty, as always.
