Little Problems Part 2

Hiccup's POV

I jerked awake and felt Merida jerk up too making me grab her.

"Sorry"I whispered and she nodded.

She yawned and I holded her closer to me making her yawn again.

I yawned trying to hold it back but couldn't.

I noticed that my armor wasn't on me anymore and neither was my shoes.

I looked at Merida who fell asleep,she had small tears coming out her eyes making me wipe them away.

"I love you so much Rida"I said and hold her closer.

Why did they want to kill Queen Elinor?

Well why did they kill Queen Elinor?

It doesn't really make sense.

I looked outside and saw that it was close to morning.

I laid Merida back down and I got off my bed and went downstairs.

"Hiccup are you alright?"Mom said while appearing from a nearby room.

I nodded and rubbed my eyes and stretched a bit.

"How did King Fergus take the news?"I said and she sighed sadly.

I rubbed my face and sighed too.

Mother smiled weakly before leaving out the door.

Damn Alvin!

I could feel my blood boil,I was so slow into rescueing them.

I should have gone sooner.

I sat down and saw a fire crackling making me stand up and go to a basket full of fish.

Toothless bounced to me and I gave him a raw fish.

I grabbed a dry stick and put some fish on the stick and put it over the fire.

"Hicc?"Rida said while coming down the stairs.

"Good Morning"I said making her rub her eyes.

"Am I really here?"She whispered making me get up and carefully place the fish down.

"Yeah you are"I said.

"If I am here then my Mom is..."

"Yes Rida sadly yes"I whispered making her run to my arms.

She didn't make a sound but I could feel her tears wetting my shirt.

"He will pay"Merida whispered and I hold her closer.

"If he threatens you again yes"I whispered and a sob came our from her soft lips.

"Do you want to eat so it can take your mind of things?"I asked softly making her nod but not move from my embrace.

I lead her to the table and gave her some fish which she poked and stuff a little.

There was soon a knock on the door making me get up and open the door.

"Is Merida here?"King Fergus said making me open the door even more and step back so he can pass.

"Father"Merida said and got up and hugged him.

They both cried making me look down.

"I'll leave you alone"I said and got out.

This is hard.

Merida's POV

I cried into my Father's arms.

She didn't tell him goodbye neither did the triplets.
