Next Morning

Hiccup's POV

I stretched and felt Merida move making me panick.

I sighed in relief when she didn't wake up.

2 Hours until Alvin comes.

2 Hours I can either die or come back home to Merida and the twins.

In 2 Hours everything change for the better or the worse.

This is the way war is,only leaving two options.

One that you badly want but can't receive easily and one that you don't want but can easily get.

A breath came out through my nose and I carefully got up with out waking Merida.

I sighed and took a shower.

~~~~30 Minutes Later~~~~

I got out and quickly dressed and brushed my teeth.

I got out of the bathroom and saw Merida bathing the children in a bucket that fits both Elika and Henry.

Merida glanced up and smiled when she saw me.

"Good mornin', yer breakfast is downstairs"She said while I kissed her cheek.

I smiled and nodded.

"When are you going to eat?"I asked and she shrugged.

I frowned and she laughed while putting Elika in a towel.

She then wrapped Henry in a towel and dried Elika slowly.

I quickly raced down and grabbed the plate and raced upstairs again.

Merida was sitting down,rocking Elika and Henry back and forth in the thing I made for them.

Yeah I still haven't been able to come up with a name for... the thing.

After a while Merida sighed and got up and smiled at me.

"Yer food is goin' to be cold"Merida said and I shook my head while touching the fish a bit.

Nope still warm,I fell a slap in my hand making me look at Merida who was crossing her arms.

"What?"

"Don't poke at yer food,how are ye going to tell yer kids not to poke at their food if they see ye pokin' th' food?"She said and I blushed.

"Sorry"I said and kissed her cheek making her roll her eyes.

I laughed at her making her huff and pout.

I broke the fish into smaller pieces and feed her and myself at the same time.

When we finished I placed the plate down and went inside the bathroom with Merida following me.

We both washed our hands in complete silence.

Merida was the first one to get out making me sigh and get out too.

"Rida,you know th-"

"Yes I know Hicc"She whispered while closing her eyes tightly.

I rubbed her arm in an upward and downward motion.

This really is going to harm her.

I glanced at the house and then at the rest of the men and vikings.

We all had lined up in the outskirts of Berk so it can be easier to protect the houses in the middle of the village.

I had one hand on my sword so I can easily grab it when they attack.
