Not Again

Merida's POV

Morning finally came and I jolted up and quickly changed.

My quiver and bow where in a nearby table making me grab them and quickly exit.

"Merida?"

No I've been caught.

"Yes"I said while turning around and facing my Mother.

"Don't come late"She said and I nodded while running to the stables.

I got on top of Angus and kicked him making him neigh and trot forward.

I smiled and let Angus take me deeper into the forest.

"Faster Angus faster"I said while laughing and shooting the targets with my arrows.

Angus started going faster making me laugh harder.

He finally stopped on the Firefalls making me smile.

I'm so glad that Mother won't force me into marriage ever again.

I quickly got off Angus and started climbing.

Although I have climbed it more than fifty or more times I never get bored of doing it.

"Yes"I shouted while giggling and laughing.

Angus neighed making me smile and start climbing down.

I grasped another rock but my hand slipped making Angus neigh.

I finally reached the bottom and started riding back.

"Hungry Angus"I said while patting him and accidentally patting his butt.

Angus slapped me with his tail fulling my mouth with hairs.

"Pfft Hungry it is"I said while wiping my mouth.

I grabbed an apple and gave it to him.

Ok my turn to be feed,I entered the kitchen and all the maids where preparing food.

Not for dinner though large amounts.

I grabbed an apple and a plate that has cakes for the wee devils.

Hmmm I wonder why there is a lot of food.

I entered the dinning room and my mom sighed looking dissapointed but still smiled.

We eventually grew used to the things we hate about each other and my Father just laughs when we do fight.

I sat down and my parents where looking at each other while the wee devils where still playing with their food.

"Merida"Both my parents started just like when they where going to tell me the clans accepted.

"Whit did Ah do now"I said making my Father look nervous and so did my mother.

They started staring at each other making me point at the cakes.

The wee devils nodded and I slid the plate under.

"Merida don't turn me into a bear but th' clans hae accepted an' a friend of yer Father's"Mother said making me groan and slammed my head against the table.

Wait friend of my Father's interesting but no.

"But ye will not get married until 10 years after"Father said and I gagged.

It's marriage and besides the clans son's are full of themselves.

And I spoke to soon this morning.

But ten years after hmmm I guess that's good.

"Hopefully Ah can fin' the witch again"I joked making Mother put a hand over her chest.

"No Ah can not bare th' fact Ah was a bear an' had to do whit Ah did"Mother said making me chuckle.

Yes!! She still hasn't told me anything of my bow.

"Merida yer bow"Mother said and I slammed my head against the table again.

The games can I play,I don't mean fight or else I won't be able to escape Mother's fury so yeah no fighting for my own hand.

"One condition can Ah play in th' games fur fin"I said and she sighed and nodded while I raised my fist to the air.

Father laughed while I smiled.

I wonder who's Father friend though.
