Maya Hart's eyes flickered open. She slowly sat up her eyes sweeping the room. She glanced beside her to see Farkle but didn't think twice about it and did a double take and screamed.

She fell on the ground with a thud.
"Lady." Farkle laughed
"Farkle!" Maya screamed angrily
"Sorry didn't mean to scare you." He smiled sitting on the edge of her bed

"What happened?" Maya asked rubbing her head
"Well the short version is Lucas asked you to be his girlfriend then you started to hyperventilate and passed out, then Riley yelled at Lucas saying this was all his fault while I called the police who revived you and said you would be fine with some rest. Then Riley punched Lucas in the mouth saying she would kill him if he ever hurt you again." He paused

"And?" She asked hanging onto every word
"Then while Lucas stood there and took all the verbal abuse from Riley I brought you home." He said patting me on the shoulder

"Wow I missed a lot." She joked
"Yeah you did the game even got canceled." He laughed
"Wow...how long was I asleep?" She asked
"About 5 hours why?" He questioned

"I'm really hungry." She sighed
"Well let's go to the kitchen I'll make you some food." He smiled
"Wait carry me." Maya begged and he laughed as Farkle knelt down and she jumped on his back.

Maya laughed like crazy as he ran into the kitchen he sat her down on the counter and she smiled. Farkle had been one of her oldest friends older than Riley and she loved spending time with him even though she hadn't gotten to do that since Riley and him started dating.

"Maya,Riley told me about her kissing Lucas in so sorry." He said pouring the pancake batter on the skillet
"It's ok I'm just confused I guess." She sighed

His phone beeped and looked to Maya having her the pancakes. "Sorry I gotta go." He smiled and kissed her cheek softly then slowly pulls away and they look into each others eyes

"I'm yeah you better go!" Maya says opening the door and grabbing this jacket and shoving him out the door and slamming it behind him. She sighed and walked back into the kitchen not realizing Lucas watched the whole thing.
