I wake up and my head feels better so I get out of bed. I grab some pajamas and I go into the bathroom and take a shower. When I'm done I put my hair up in a messy bun and walk into my bedroom. I put on my fake glasses and go on my laptop. I watch some YouTube videos till I realize its twelve at night. I close my laptop and go back to sleep. When I wake up it is cloudy out, I hope Trent still wants to hang out. I fix my hair and put it in curls then I go over to my closet. I slip on a pair of skinny jeans and a graphic tee. I put on a gray beanie then I slip on my converse. As I walk down the stairs I remember I didn't grab my phone. I sigh and run up the stairs and grab my phone then run back down the stairs. I run into the garage and grab my skateboard. I skateboard past Justin's house and he was outside so I stop. “Hey,” Justin says as he comes over to me. I hug him and he kisses me on the forehead. I'm going to skateboard with a friend I sign. “You got a friend. I told you people like you,” Justin says. His name is Trent he just moved here I sign. “I shouldn't worry about him, should I?” Justin asks. No not at all I sign. “Have fun. Be careful and try not to get hurt,” Justin says. I can actually skate I sign. “You should teach me to skateboard,” Justin says before kissing me. I'll try to teach you I sign and smile at him. “Oh try, you never know I could be really good,” Justin says. You sure I sign. “Just watch me be better then you,” Justin says jokingly. We'll see I sign. “I love you,” Justin says. I love you to I sign then kiss him. “Go hang out with Trent and come to my house for dinner, please?” Justin says. I would love to stay at your house for dinner I sign. “See you then babe,” Justin says. I get back on my skateboard and continue skating to Trent's house. I really should have drove my car there. I see a car driving down the road and it stops. “Hey bitch,” I hear Jade shout. Oh hell no. What is she doing here? I keep skateboarding and she follows. “What do you think your doing?” Jade asks as she gets out of her car. I keep on skateboarding ignoring her like I do to everyone, but Mason and Justin, at the school. “Get your ass back here whore,” Jade yells. I skateboard faster to get away from her and I feel her grab my shirt. She yanks me off my skateboard and I fall to the ground. I wince in pain and Jade looks at me. “I saw you with Justin,” Jade sneers. I get up and grab my skateboard. “Get back here,” Jade yells. I run from her and after awhile I stop. I look around and I don't see Jade so I sit down in the grass. I sit there trying to catch my breath. I lean back in the grass and close my eyes. I hate that bitch so much. After I catch my breath I get up and continue skateboarding to Trent's. When I get there my legs feel like jello but I brush it off. Trent's outside skateboarding around the circle at the end of the road. “Hey there,” Trent says as I skateboard over to him. “I got you something,” Trent says. I follow him into his house and he hands me a note book with a pen that says skater girl on it. The note book has skateboards all over it and my name painted on it. I smile and Trent looks at me. “Do you like it?” Trent asks. I nod my head as I open it. “I got it for you so we can talk,” Trent says. This is one of the ways I usually talk I write. “Well I bet this makes it cooler with your skateboard stuff,” Trent says. It does I write. “Now I will show you to my skateboard ramp,” Trent says. I bring all my stuff with me and follow Trent. In the backyard there is a nice fire pit on a concrete ground. There is a patio set on the concrete area to. Then there is a huge skateboarding ramp. I can't wait to skate on it. Me and Trent start to skateboard till there is a crack of lighting and thunder. I'm at the top about ready to skate down the ramp and a women comes out. “Come on you two lets get inside,” the girl says. I skate down and try to do one last trick but fall off my board. “You ok?” Trent asks. I nod my head as Trent helps me up and I pick my board up. I grab my notebook and pen and head inside. My muscles are tired I just want to rest. I follow Trent into a living room and I flop onto the couch. “I don't want to go to school tomorrow. I hate being the new kid,” Trent groans. Don't worry everyone loves when there are new kids I write. “I'm still nervous,” Trent says. Don't do you'll be fine I write. “What makes you so sure of that?” Trent asks. The most popular girl, Jade, moved here three years ago and everything for her has been perfectly fine I write. “Really?” Trent asks. I nod my head and Trent's mom comes into the room. “I made you two sandwiches and lemonade,” she says. “Thanks mom,” Trent says. I smile friendly at her and she hands me a plate and a cup. I set the cup on the coffee table and start to eat my sandwich. I look around the room and it could be very nice. It needs a new layer of paint since the yellow paint on the walls are peeling off. The wood floors look dull and could use some polishing. All that's in the room is the couch, coffee table, and some boxes. Trent sees me looking around and laughs. “The house could use some fixing up,” Trent says looking around. I hear paws pattering across the ground then a husky is eye to eye with me as I lay on the couch. “That's Cookie,” Trent says. Cookie wags her tail at me so much that her butt wags with her tail. I laugh at her and pet her. She licks my face and I sit up. She jumps up next to me on the couch. She lays her head in my lap and I pet her. I love dogs they are so cute and fun to be with. I have asked my parents for a dog over and over and I get the same answer, no. I would do anything to have a dog. I pet Cookie and she seems to really like me. “She is a very friendly dog,” Trent says. I kiss her on the head and she licks my face. I laugh and she rolls over onto her back, paws in the air. I pet her stomach and she lays there. She has those beautiful ice blue eyes and the black and white fur. She is a beautiful dog and is incredibly friendly, I want to take her home with me. I love Cookie I wish I could take her home with me I write. “She is a amazing dog isn't she,” Trent says. I nod my head and I pet her some more. “We rescued a puppy off the streets, shes one year old. Mom says we can't keep her. Would you like her?” Trent asks. I nod my head with a huge smile on my face. “Wait right here, I'll go get Brownie,” Trent says. Holy crap I'm getting a puppy. Mom and Dad are going to kill me! Oh well I need a dog. They relax me so much and there easy to talk to, even though I don't talk. I look at Cookie as she looks up at me as she wags her tail. I kiss her on the nose and she licks my nose. I giggle at her and pet her. I hear more paws hitting the ground and Trent comes in with a brown husky. Brownie wags her tail when she sees me and I walk over to her. She licks my face and I pet her. “She really likes you,” Trent says as she puts her paws on my shoulders and continues to lick my face. I pet her and she gets off of me. “We have a leash and collar for her,” Trent says handing me a pink leash and collar. I put her collar on her and she and Cookie start to run around. “Mom is it ok if I give Brownie to Emma?” Trent asks. “If she would like Brownie sh may have her,” his mom says. I get up from the floor and hug Trent to show that I'm happy and thankful. “Your welcome,” Trent says. I walk over to my note book and pick it up. I have read so many books on dog care trying to prove to my parents I can care for a dog I write. “What would they not let you get a dog?” Trent asks. I nod my head and he looks at me. “Dogs are great to have. Cookies my best friend, shes always there for me,” Trent says. Brownie will be my buddy I write. “She will she loves you already, I can tell,” Trent says. I'm going to have to leave I write. “Your going to leave so soon?” Trent says. I have to pick some stuff up for Brownie now I write. “Would you like me to help you?” Trent asks. Meet me at the Petsmart in town I write. “When would you like to go to the Petsmart?” Trent asks. At around seven I write. “Alright me and Cookie will meet you there,” Trent says. I hug him then he walks me and Brownie to the door. “Here take this extra backpack to hold your clothes from yesterday and you notebook,” Trent says as he hands it to me. I slip it on then me and Brownie walk outside.
