Chapter 3

I wake up at 4 and crawl out of bed sleepily. I walk to the bathroom and i brush my teeth. "Morning," Mason says as he walks into the bathroom. I start looking around for my hair brush and Mason starts laughing at me. I look in the mirror and my hair is messed up big time. I laugh along with Mason and start to brush my hair. "You look lovely," Mason says. I give him a hug and then i run into my room and shut my door. I walk to my closet and pull out a white v neck t-shirt and a pair of shorts that barely make it to my finger tips and slip them on. I slip on my white flip flops and go over to my make up table. I do my hair and my make up then i run down stairs and sit next to Mason at the table. Mason hands me a pop tart and i eat it fastly. "Chill girl take your time," Mason says. I smile at him and stick the last little bit i have left into my mouth and i get up and grab my backpack. "Are you going to see Justin?" Mason says then starts making kissing noises at me. I pick up Masons football and throw it a him. "Have fun," Mason says. Are you coming i write down on my note pad and show it to him. "I'm not feeling good," Mason says. Feel better i write down and show it to him. "Will do," Mason says. I walk out the door and to the end of my drive way. "Hey Emma,' Justin says as he walks over to me. I smile at him then i see someone behind him. I point to the person behind Justin and he looks behind me. "That's my brother hes 12," Justin says. I wave to him and he waves back. "His name is William and he is deaf," Justin says. Really i sign. "Yeah. Wait here," Justin says. Justin runs up to his brother then him and William come over to me. This is Emma Justin signs to William. William waves to me and i smile at him. "We need to get to school," Justin says. It was nice meeting you i sign to William. Bye Emma William signs. I wave bye as Justin give William a hug. "Lets go," Justin says. Me and Justin start walking to school and half way there one of the prissy bitches at are school pulls up next to us in her car. "Hey Justin," she says. Justin sighs and looks at me. "Oh joy its the prissy bitch," Justin says. "Do you want a ride," she asks. "No i am walking with Emma," Justin says. The girl in the car starts laughing and looks at Justin. "Your kidding?" she asks. "I'm not kidding at all," Justin says sounding irritated. "She is so fucking stupid though and she isn't pretty at all," she says. i clench my fist and start to run. "Emma," Justin shouts. I keep running and i don't look back. A person can only handle so much hurtful words and at this point there really starting to get to me. I run into the woods and i stop at a tree and sit down. "Emma," Justin says as he walks into the woods and sees me. I start crying and Justin sits next to me. "What she said is not true at all," Justin says. I wipe my tears away and look at Justin. "You know what today we are skipping school," Justin says. Justin gets up and helps me up. What are we going to do i write down. "We are going to build a tree house here in the woods," Justin says. Really i write down. "Hell yeah were going to have fun," Justin says. I smile at him and laugh. "I have a shit load of wood at my house lets go get it and all the stuff we need," Justin says. I'm ditching my backpack at your house i write. "That's cool with me," Justin says. We walk back to his house and Justin opens the door for me. "I'm going to call in sick for me and you," Justin says. I walk into his kitchen ans set my back pack down. Justin walk in and smiles at me. "Lets go get the wood and all that nice stuff," Justin says. I follow him to his garage and he gets a huge wagon and fills it with a lot of wood and everything we would need. "Ready?" Justin asks. I nod my head yes and we start walking back to the woods. When we get there we walk around looking for a tree to use and we find the perfect tree. "Lets do this." Justin says. I hand Justin my note book and he starts to skeatch what it might look like. "Do you like this?" Justin asks. I look at the drawing an it looks so good. I grab the note book from him and look a the picture closer. "Let me guess you think i can really draw," Justin says. I nod my head yes and hand my note book back to him. "I will cut the wood and get it ready so we can get to the part were we are going to make the floor of the tree house," Justin says as he gets up. I lean my back on the tree and i close my eyes for a second. I think i like Justin i think to myself. "Emma," Justin says. I open my eyes and Justin laughs at me. "You fell asleep while i cut the wood," Justin says. I laugh at myself and Justin smiles at me. "You looked cute," Justin says. I start to blush and i get up. "But anyway lets get to work," Justin says. Me and Just put the ladder on the tree and when were done that i hand up big pieces of wood to Justin and we cut the to the right size. We start working on the floor and when we are done that Justin tests it by jumping around on it like a idiot. I climb onto it and start dancing with Justin. Justin starts spinning me around and i start laughing. "Ready to build walls an a roof?" Justin asks. I nod my head yes and we get to work. We get up one wall and i push on it to make sure it wont come off and it stays so me and Justin work on another wall. "Don't forget to make a door," Justin says. I look at him and give him one of those really looks. " What you never know someone could forget a door on one wall," Justin says. We go back to working and i keep looking back at Justin as he works and that's when i notice he keeps looking at me to. I wonder if he likes me i think to myself. When we finish all the walls i stand up and stretch. "It looks awesome so far," Justin says. I grab my notepad and write down now all we need to do it make a roof. "We can do that after lunch I'm starving. Are you hungry?" Justin says. I nod my head yes and we climb out of the tree. I climb into the wagon since everything was in the tree house and Justin looks at me. "I guess I'm pulling you to my house," Justin says. Yeah and back to the tree house i write down. "I get to pull you back to the tree house to," Justin says. I nod my head yes as he starts to pull me in the wagon. When we get to his house i jump out and we walk inside. "Is a sandwich ok for lunch?" Justin asks. I nod my head yes and i walk over to on chair and sit down as Justin makes lunch. When he is done he hands me mine and i eat it slowly. "I'm having fun today i don't know how anyone wouldn't want to be your friend," Justin says. I smile at him and he smiles back. When were done we clean up an we get watter bottles. We go outside and i jump into the wagon and Justin pulls me to the tree house. "Lets make a roof," Justin says. I jump out of the wagon and follow Justin up into the tree house. We start making the roof and we hear thunder in the distince. We hurry and finish the of and put a tarp on it and we get all the tools together and put it in the wagon. "Do you want to get in the wagon?" Justin asks. I nod my head no and we walk back to his house. When we get to his house I help him put away the tools and all that then we go into his living room and sit down. "Do you want to watch a movie?" Justin asks. Sure i write down. Justin gets up and puts in some random movie and we sit there and watch it. When the movie is over i hug Justin and write i have to get home so my parents don't know i i skipped school. Justin walks me to my front door and hugs me. "Bye Emma." Justin says.
